You were sitting on the porch, waiting to watch the sunset.
You thought back to your almost death that Five had told you, although you didn't remember it. You knew that Five had believe your dead twice then. It was more than you cared for him.
"Y/n" Five said as appeared behind you "I'm okay. Just nervous. I remember that you always wanted to get home and now that you are...it's all weird" you said "I know, but I can finally give you what you want" he said "And what is that?" you asked and he sat down next to you before he grabbed your hand "The life you always wanted. I know that your life hasn't been the best" he said "I wouldn't trade it for anything. I didn't need anything back then and I don't need anything now. I meant it when I forgave you even if I was different at the time, but everything I did was me. I forgive you and I know you forgive me" you said and he nodded.
"What did even happen at the barn?" you asked "I don't wanna talk about it. It was just for a few seconds, but those will haunt me forever" he said "Why?" you asked "I..." he said before he let out a sigh.
"I can't lose you Y/n/n, not again" he said. His eyes still haven't met yours. You need them to. Your eyes are still full of life. You're still full of life. That's why you softly grab his chin and force him to look at you. To look into your eyes.
"I wouldn't allow anything or anybody to take you away from me" he whispered and you let out a sigh as your face fell for a bit.
"Just promise me you'll always be careful. And no matter what happens, I will protect you" he said "You know that I can protect myself" she said "I'm not saying that. Just do that for me" he said and you looked at him "I will. And I swear to protect you too" you said "Let's protect each other, okay" he said "Deal" you said before you let out a sigh.
"You okay?" he asked "I just found out that my parents were part of the Commission and just like us they were the best" you said and Five looked at you "Really?" he asked and you nodded "When I was 12, The Handler came and offered them a deal, she told them about the apocalypse that would happen. And then she offer them a deal, they would come back and work for her for life and she would make sure that I survive the apocalypse" you said "So that's how you ended there?" he asked and you nodded "Yeah, so the mystery is solved" you said.
"But why didn't you meet them when we joined?" he asked "'Cause they were dead, killed in a explosion, set by The Handler" you said "Why would she kill your parents?" he asked "Maybe because they're just like me, knew something weren't right and The Handler was planning something and she killed them. And then ask us to join, believing that we would be just as good and we did" you said "How do you know all of this?" he asked "Lila told me" you said before you looked down at your fingers "Now I get why I was so good at working at The Commission, it's in my blood" you said.
