Dustin kept shouting in the walkie as the two groups were hiding. But as a response he got the mind flayer screeching in the walkie. "It's turned away. If we go up the stairs now, we'll make it." Mike turned to the girls.

"No way, not with El's leg."  Lexi shook her head. "We have to try." Mike told the blonde. "There's another way... to get out. Through the Gap." El said and Mike looked at the monster. "Okay. Now."

They ran to the Gap, but El knocked something over in the process and they caught the mind flayer's attention. They could see some tentacles, that were searching for them from their hiding spot.

One tentacle was getting really close to Mike's face and Lexi turned around placed her face on Max's shoulder, since she didn't want to see, what she knew was coming. But as a miracle, a balloon popped and the mind flayer turned his full attention to that.

Mike looked at the creature and nodded at the girls to confirm, he was out of sight. They got up and ran out of the mall.

The group made it to the gate, but there he was. Billy was walking towards them, so they turned around and ran back into the mall. They got to the elevator and mIke kept pressing the button, hoping to escape Billy.

Max walked to the hall, to check where Billy is and Lexi looked at her. "Billy. Billy, you don't have to do this. Billy. Your name's Billy, Billy Hargrove. You live on 4819 Cherry Lane. Billy, please, I'm Max, I'm your..."

He cut her off by a harsh slap, that knocked her out. Mike tried to attack him, but Billy knocked him out as well. The two girls looked at each other, terrified. They both knew the mind flayer wanted to kill the both.

He walked over to them and El tried to use her powers, but he was faster and knocked her out too. Lexi was the only one left. She looked around to see, if there's anything, that could help her, but there was nothing. Billy stopped in front of her and grinned.

He grabbed her by her neck and lifted her up. Lexi started to choke and he grinned even more. "Please." She choked out and as a response he slammed her head into the wall.

"Seven... feet. You told her...the wave was seven feet. You ran to her, on the beach. There were seagulls. She wore a hat... With a blue ribbon. A long dress... with a blue and red flower. Yell... Yellow sandals, covered in sand. She was pretty. She was really pretty. And you... you were happy."

El's voice and the sound of fireworks was what woke Lexi up. When she opened her eyes, she saw Billy holding the Mind Flayer and screaming. She sat up as she was really confused, on what's going on.

Then the tentacles started attacking Billy. "Billy!" She heard a familiar voice yell as Billy's body fell to the ground.

Mike and Max walked over to them. Mike started to comfort El and Max walked to Billy and sat down next to his dying body.

"Billy? Billy. Billy, Billy, get up, please. Billy, get up, please, please.  Billy... Billy. Billy. Billy, wake up. Billy, get up. Please, Billy... Billy! Billy... Billy..."

Lexi sat down next to Max and the redhead fell into her arms. Max kept sobbing and Lexi kept assuring Max that it's okay, even though she knew it isn't.

After all of that, they sat in an ambulance with Robin and Lexi waited for her father to return. She saw Joyce hug will and she walked out of the ambulance to look for her dad. She looked around but didn't see him anywhere.

Lexi looked at Joyce, who shook her head and Lexi's heart broke into million pieces. "No, no, no, no, no." She sobbed and Max soon ran over to her and held her in her arms as the blonde kept crying.
