Chapter 11: Windblight Ganon: Scourge of Divine Beast Vah Medoh
Windblight Ganon Fight - BOTW OST
The ball formed a hideous creature. It had one long arm made of Malice, and the other had some sort of gun built into it. It had short spiky red hair and a Sheikah Tech face with a blue glowing eye. Its body was made of Malice, and its hips (oof you could call them that) were Sheikah Tech. It didn't have legs, instead it had Malice dripping out of its hips/bottom. There were weird cylinder things on its back too.
"That is Windblight Ganon. That thing bested me 100 years ago...but only because it was a bad day," Revali said.

Scourge of Divine Beast Vah Medoh
It let out a deafening ROAR before spiralling into action. It took a swipe at Tech with its malice hand, and Tech barely made it out of the way once his legs remembered how to work. Razor sharp claws just missed Tech's face as he ran to the side. Link took that chance to swing at the monster. His blade caught with a finger and he managed to cut it clean off. Windblight roared in pain as Malice dripped from the wound, but then, the finger grew back.
Link's eyes widened as the clawed hand aimed for him while the gun aimed at Tech. Windblight shot and swung at the same time. Tech managed to bounce the shots away from him with his sword, but Link wasn't too fortunate. Link cried out in pain as a clawed finger tore the skin on his non-sword arm wide open. Blood began to pour out of his arm as he continued to cry out in pain.
Link fell over, holding his wounded arm. Windblight floated over to finish its enemy off. It raised his arm, aiming for Link's chest.
"NO!" Tech cried.
Link closed his eyes, bracing for impact, but it never came. He opened his eyes to see a glowing vine holding Windblight's arm back. Link looked confusedly at Tech.
Tech stood, hand outstretched towards Windblight, his eyes glowing green. He sent more vines to wrap around Windblight. The vines bound Windblight to the ground as Tech ran toward Link.
"Link!" Tech cried, kneeling down next to Link.
"Here," Tech said, handing Link a Fairy Tonic. "That will heal you fully. It has the essence of a fairy in it."
Link gulped the drink down, and his arm magically healed. Link grabbed his sword and ran to hack at Windblight. It grunted and its lights on its body flashed with every hit. The vines snapped and Windblight rose into the sky, drifting out of the way of Link's sword. Windblight swept its hand up fast, creating a tornado of wind twirling towards Link and Tech. They split up, and dodged the tornado together.
They hit it some more, and Windblight roared angrily. It rose high into the air, and the cylinder things came off its back. It sent them after Tech and Link. Link gasped as they lined up and shot laser beams toward them. They both screamed, dodging the beams narrowly.
"This guy is deadly!" Link cried, dodging another beam.
"I think that's the point!" Tech cried.
"I know!" Link said.
"How do we hit it? Its all the way up there!" Link said.
"I don't know! Arrow?" Tech suggested.
Link nocked an arrow into place, and shot it. It didn't do much.
"Try a bomb!" Tech said.
"Huh?" Link asked. "Throw it all the way up there?"
"NO! YOU IDIOT! Bomb ARROW!" Tech said.
Link shot a bomb arrow, and it sent Windblight onto the floor. Link whacked it.
Windblight rose high into the sky and sent four tornados towards Link. Tech used his newly awakened Forest/Wind power to unravel each tornado. Seeing that its tornadoes weren't doing anything, Windblight decided to target Link with a beam. Link ran for his life as Windblight kept firing. Tech grabbed his bow and channelled his magic to create a Forest/Wind arrow. He felt fatigue beginning to grip him, and he knew he could create another arrow. He had one shot at this.
Tech breathed in and out before letting the arrow fly. It hit its mark: Windblight's eye. It growled and vines began to spread through Windblight's body. It roared before exploding in a puff of Malice and leaves.
"What. the. hell. was. that?" Link asked, trying to regain his breath.
"My power," Tech said. "Forest/Wind."
"Oh..." Link said.
"I'm finally free...it took you way too long," Revali said, appearing as a spirit.

Revali's Theme - BOTW OST
"Well, sorry," Tech said.
"Whatever," Revali said. "Link. As a reward, I give you my power," he continued, putting his wings together to form a ball of light. "I give you Revali's Gale!"
The ball entered Link's chest, and his feet lifted off the ground for a split second before Link kneeled on the ground and a gust of wind blew upc creating an updraft and Revali was seen flying around the updraft.
"You can thank me now," Revali said, as light began to surround Tech and Link. "Or you can go."
The light consumed them and then they were gone.
Revali sighed and walked out of look at the view. "Let's go buddy."
Medoh began to move towards the village. People screamed in terror as it got closer and covered their heads. Medoh perched on Medoh's Perch, like it had 100 years ago.
"Aim..." Revali said as Medoh aimed at the Castle. "I may not be able to physically kill Ganon, but at least I can aid Link and Tech in the fight...and Link...good luck."

Link and Tech materialised at the entrance of Rito Village.
"Who did that?" Link asked, indicating to the teleport that he just witnessed.
"Zelda," Tech said.
"Oh," Link said.
"Come on. Let's talk to the Elder and let him know everything's gonna be okay now," Tech said.
"Okay...and I need a nap," Link said.
"Me too...all that magic use has made me so tired," Tech said.
The two headed into the village to deliver the good news. (If they didn't fall asleep first)
One Divine Beast down, three to go.
YAY! FIRST DIVINE BEAST DONE!
Incase it was a little unclear, when Tech shot the arrow at Windblight, it made vines and plants grow inside of Windblight, which made it explode.
Trivia:
I always thought that the person who teleported you out of a Divine Beast was Zelda, so I implemented that in the book.
