“No. No. Nooo.” The little girl shouted in horror.

Napahawak siya sa malagkit na likido sa kanyang mukha at tiningnan ang kamay.

It’s blood!

Every corner of the room, traces of slimy and stinky blood were splattered.

“Y-you’re a monster.” Ani ng isang boses ng babae.

Hindi niya maaninag ang mukha nito. Her eyesight isn’t clear.

She’s bathing in blood.

Her lashes is heavy due to the viscous red liquid covering all her face, dripping from her hair.

“W-what happen? B-b-bloodshed…..why?” Lumingon-lingon siya sa buong paligid.

Dirty walls and bloody floor.

Human body parts. Flesh, bones and organs are scattered everywhere.

Men! Maraming lalaki ang kanina bumihag sa kanila ng kanyang ina.

Ina?

She’s with her mom! They were kidnapped!

Lumingon-lingon siya sa paligid. Hinahanap ang kanyang ina.

“M-mom? Mom-” her world felt like it stop from revolving at napatakip siya ng bibig ng makita ang pamilyar na babaeng nakahiga sa sahig.

Her clothes were torn. Her eyes is open but is crying with blood. Umaagos din ang dugo mula sa ilong, bibig at tenga nito.

“M-mom.” She called at agad na nilapitan ang ina, “mom?” but no response. “Mom.” She shouted pero hindi ito gumalaw.

She’s not breathing. She’s cold and frozen. Her face depicts fear as if she had seen something terrifyingly horrible before her life bit the dust.

“Mom please. Please, let’s go. Let’s leave,” she begged but her mom isn’t responding.

“Mom! No please,” she shouted. No, this can’t be. Her mom is not dead. No, she’s not.

She keep convincing herself that everything is not true, that it’s just an illusion.

Her tears continuously falls from both her eyes. She’s shaking while hugging her mom, trying to wake her up and leave.

“Y-you monster…You killed her!” A voice full of fear and shocked echoed pero tila wala siyang narinig. She’s talking to her mom’s cold body as if they are having a conversation.

“Mur-murderer.” Someone yelled pero hindi niya kilala kung sino. Wala siyang pakialam. She’s talking with her mom.

“Stop. Let go.” A stern voice coming from her back said but she did not listen.

“Take her!”

“Nooo! Mom, mom. No, we’re talking,” she shouted when men in knight uniform pulled her mom away from her arms, “where are you taking my mom? Mom.” She shouted on top of her lungs, begging with all her might but no one heard her pleadings.

They took her mom away from her.

Her screams filled the room. People closed their eyes and blocked their ears not to hear her heart breaking cries, until she became silent and spacing out but a mouthful of tears is still streaming down her cheeks.
