Chapter Ten: Catelyn goes Rogue

Catelyn Tully is determined to end this family was my first thought, I had recieved a raven from my brother telling me what had happened and that the people I left stopped the Assassin before he had the chance to enter the room.

He was instructed to use a weapon to frame the Lannisters and when he described the person, it matched Peter Bealish but she would not hear it and stated that it was a Lannister as her friend would never do that.

I just wanted to punch my brother for sending all of this via Raven, but also that it just proved that Catelyn Tully was a mixture of plain denial and crazy.
He has managed to have her retained in her rooms for now, but they would not keep her long, and I can not stand by and let that happen.
I called my winter guard commanders to discuss the issue that Catelyn presented because my father and sister sansa are in kingslanding. I knew that when not if but when she triggered a war because I had that feeling I could not stop her from taking Tyrion on his was back but I can get him back before she reached the eyrie.
I have already sent people to infiltrate the eyrie and made sure some of the knights and Lords were made aware of Aunt lysa sleeping with Bealish, and to say they were disgusted was not covering it.

They were also aware that the boy was not their dead Lords son, and so Lord Arryns' nephew is Heir for all the Lords that support him, and they have offered their support when I called it, especially because I had stopped Bealish gaining control.
Things were slowly coming together.
I knew the Tyrells could be an issue once they found out about Jeahaerys because Margarey had her sights set on being queen, but unless Ygritte dies, I knew Jea would not take a second wife.
She was pregnant again and only had another two months left they were both excited and decided to suprise us with names after the baby was born.

Once I was dressed, I walked into the war room with my commanders waiting for me.

"I have received notice this morning that Catelyn Tully, despite the evidence, is in firm belief that the Lannisters were trying to kill Bran and not the hard evidence that it was Peter Bealish.
Robb has managed to contain her to her rooms, but if I know her like I do, she will most likely escape some point soon.
We must prepare for her to do something stupid like taking a Lannister and Tywin lannister will have war when she does."

"Your lady mother can't be that stupid?"

Loras asked with a look that can only be described as dumbfounded because he knew Catelyn, but I think he now realises how political bad she is, that actually shocked.

"This is just the tip of the ice, my friend. I have done what I can, so Robb does not keep her council, but all I can do is offer him advice.
We must start preparing for war. I will not have the North unprepared, and Domeric, I need you to keep an eye on your father. tywin lannister was making tempting deals. I trust you with my life, but your father is not so much."

Domeric nodded because he owed Lyarra his life after removing Ramsey but also because she was his friend and had already sorted his betrothal to the daughter of a Lord from the house in the Eyrie He had been in love with her for some time, and the girl was the sister of the future lord, so it was a good match.

"Where do you want to start Lyarra?"

Brienne asked me, I smiled at her, and then we talked about the surrounding area, where the best places to make hidden ditches, then we were talking about the rest of our naval ships and the hidden ones we have.
We also found that the gods were on our side when one of the childern if the first that stayed in the weirwoods said that the mist from the forest would confuse any with ill intentions.
