Can I just say omg thank you so much for the love of this book over the past few years even though I'm crappy at keeping up with it.
The last thing I wanted today was to be away from Ben. But maybe it's for the best for a little while. I mean I don't wanna go all dragon on him. But I wouldn't. I love him enough too.
I take my bike to Evies little starter cast where her and Mal tend to stay. Instead of Auradon prep campus.
"I was hoping you would be here instead of with Benny boo." I hear someone say with a chuckle.
I turned around and noticed it was Audrey.
"Is this a joke what are you doing with the crown and scepter?" I ask.
"Well I wanted them so I took them And you of all people should understand that Quinn." Audrey said.
"Wait Audrey stop don't use that!" I shout.
"I thought you liked magic." She said.
As if I can't even cast a basic spell I've tried with Mals help.
"I don't honestly. But come on Audrey your better." I start to say.
"Quiet!" She shouts cutting me off.
"It's not a toy it's dangerous." I say.
"I want to be dangerous." She snaps back.
"My life was perfect until you stole it. And then Auradon turned its back on me." She says.
"No they didn't. You think they did. Because Ben didn't want you anymore." I say.
"Well boo hoo it's time for a little payback." She says.
"Audrey wait." I say.
She just laughed. Well not good.
"You think Ben will love you now you old hag. You'll pay the price. I'd what you did. And so will all of Auradon." She says.
I feel off. Like not in a good way. As a cloud of smoke wrapped around me.
"So long sucker!" She cheers. And then leaves in a puff of smoke.
Mal Evie Jay Carlos came running out right after she left.
"Whoa! You might wanna think of a spell for that Mal." Jay says
"There's no spell that can reverse the curse of the scepter." I say.
"Well, that's a shame." Jay says.
"Forget about me. Audrey's out for revenge. And all of Auradon is in danger." I say.
"What should we do?" Evie asked.
"The only thing more powerful than the scepter." Mal started.
"is Hades' ember." I finished.
" Oh!" Jay exclaimed
"Like he's just gonna hand it over." Jay says.
"He will I'm his daughter and I hope he still has an ounce of love for me." I say.
He might hand it to me too I'm his errand rat. Now that Quinn's been over here." Celia said.
Dizzy came out of the door.
"Quinn?" She asked.
She moves closer and shouts.
"Dizzy Celia you and Ginny stay here to take care
of the twins." I say.
"We'll be right back and everything will be just fine.Go inside." Evie reassured them.
"Guys, go get your stuff." I say
"How bad is it?" I ask when Mal comes back.
"You age beautifully." She says grinning.
"Sure okay." I say with a chuckle.
Crap Ben. I told him I would meet him at Jane's party after
"Ben." I say.
"What about him?" Mal asked.
"We had a rough morning and I needed time too cool off so I came here. I told him I would meet him at Jane's party." I say.
"Okay and do you want me to call him and tell him.." Mal asked.
"I don't know I don't wanna worry him he's alright stressed." I say.
"Quinn." Mal says.
"Yes please just put it on speaker.." I say.
"Okay." Mal says.
She grabs her phone. And starts to call him.
"Hey Mal what's up is Quinn with you?" He says.
"Hey Ben it's actually Quinn ." I say.
"What happened was it Uma?" He asked.
I wanted to cry I didn't realize I sounded different
"No Ben it was Audrey she has your moms crown and the scepter." I say.
"Are you hurt?" He asked.
"No she's got a spell on her that makes her look fabulously old." Mal says.
I shot Mal a look.
"Okay at least that's the case do I need to call fairy godmother?" Ben asked.
"No ben uhm we are going to the isle to see my dad." I say.
"Okay be careful you know the conversation this morning." He said.
"Yes Ben I do." I say.
"Alright Love you." He says.
"Love you too." I say.
"Come on let's go." Evie says.
After wobbling to the mopeds we all got on them and started to drive.
Nearing the edge of Auradon where the bridge should be Mal started speaking.
"Noble steed, proud and fair, you shall take us anywhere." She says.
We drive to the isle. Over the water into the barrier.
"Hey. I'm me again." I say as soon as I hop off.
"Duh. Evil magic doesn't work here." Carlos reminded me.
"Well welcome back." Mal says.
"Thank you." I say.
We started walking towards Dr Feciliers. I nocked on the door. And he answered.
" Hey." He says.
"Baron." I say with a squeal.
"Quinn Come on. In." He says.
The five of us walked in.
"We're on a mission. And I need her key." I say.
"How did you know he locked himself up." He asked.
"It's my dad." I say.
"True. I'll go grab it.."He says.
Carlos is playing with the tv near us.
"Alerts of the sleeping spell keep coming in as it spreads throughout Auradon." The news caster says.
"Uh. guys. Come look at this." Carlos says.
"There are rumors that Sleeping Beauty's daughter, Audrey, is behind the spell. We're trying to discover who is responsible for these vicious lies,and which villain has perpetrated this evil.
We have an update. It's what? It's moving this way?
It is moving this way." The news reporter said.
"Oh no." I say.
"Here's the key." Baron said.
"Thank you." I tell him.
"Your welcome." He replies with.
With that we hurry out the door.
