"Would you like a hot hors d'oeuvre?" I asked.
"Yes, please. Mmm! This is the best thing I've ever had." Ben said.
"So, you like it?" I asked.
"I more than like it. I, uh... mmm-- so like it."
Ben said
" Beef ragout?" I asked.
"Yeah. This is amazing." He said.
"Did I surprise you?" I asked.
"Oh, yeah, you surprised me. This is every single dish Mrs. Potts made for my parents. What did it take you? Three days?"Ben said.
"Two days Mal helped me put the finishing touches on it earlier." I said.
"Yeah. Well, it means a lot that you stopped and did all this for me. Especially with all the craziness you've been put through. I've missed you. We don't get much time to be just us anymore."
"I know." I said playing with the string of my top.
When I noticed he split some on his shirt.
"You can't take me anywhere, right?" Ben asked.
"I thought that was me." I said.
"Do you have a-- Do you have a napkin or something." Ben asked.
"I do! I packed some." I said.
"Oh, there is." Ben said as I looked in one side and he looked in the other.
"I think I stowed them away. I can grab them." I said as I actually found them.
I leaned over and kissed him.
"You know that skirt just makes the gray in your eyes shine a little bit more." Ben said as we pulled apart.
"Really I never noticed." I said playing dumb.
"You did your playing dumb." He said moving behind me.
Standing up to meet his bight as my shoes give me a little leverage on him for once.
"Maybe I did just to here my wonderful boyfriend complement me." I said leaning over and kissing him on the lips again.
He stoped it quicker then what I would have liked but we haven't seen each other like this in a while.
"Quinn." He said.
"Ben." I said.
"I do love you but I told everyone I had a picnic not a make out section." Ben said.
"Ben it's hard we haven't had time together so I thought we could actually act like a normal couple as we have never really done any of that stuff."
I said.
"Yes! Some things are hard! Do you think learning to be king has been easy for me" Ben said.
"No!" I said.
"I thought we were doing this together!" Ben said.
"Ben, we are in this together." Quinn said.
"I'm sorry Quinn I understand why your mad." Ben said.
"Okay." Quinn said.
"Let's go back to the castle and I can work in my office and you can stay and watch." Ben said.
"Ben are you sure?" I asked.
"Yeah." Ben said grabbing my hand and kissing it.
We both made it to his moped and he handed me his helmet and we head back to the castle that was now Ben's as his parents stepped down from the throne and they are on a vacation.
Making it to the castle I followed Ben to his bedroom.
"Not what I expected." I said looking at it.
"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah I was honestly expecting a bed in a library with a closet." I said.
"Wow Quinn maybe you could have used a bit more imagination." Ben said.
I slid my shoes off and sat down on his bed.
Ben started to laugh shaking his head at me as he went to his closet to change. When he changed into a purple button down with a black vest and the sleeves rolled up and he changed his shoes while I slid mine back on and we left to his office. Sitting in the chair across from Bens desk in his office I picked at my nails as he looked over the papers in front of him.
"Deborah?" He called
"Yes, Your Majesty?" She asked.
"Can you ask Lumiere to call me regarding Cotillion?" Ben asked.
"Yes, sir." She said.
"Thank you." Ben said.
Taking his headset off and looked at me.
"Your the only normalcy in this office and I'm very glad." He said.
I was about to respond when Evie came in.
"Ben?" She asked.
"Evie! Come on in" He said.
"Mal's gone back to the Isle." She said facing me.
"I ignored it all she was saying how she would like to go back to isle." I said.
"Don't hit you self to hard me and the boys are going to go find her." Evie said.
"I'll come." I said.
"Quinn Evie I'll come too." Ben said.
"But let's get two things straight. You have to promise me that I won't get stuck there again." Evie said.
"I promise." Ben said standing up next to me.
"And there's no way you're going looking like that" she said.
"Yeah Ben I agree." I said playing with my glove.
"Well VK me up then." Ben said.
"Aww I actually get to make my boyfriend look like a VK." I said.
