*TOOTHLESS POV*

I woke up to Hiccup snoring slightly. I laughed a bit and kissed his head. I got up slowly and went to put day clothes on. I walked out of the cave and sat on the edge of our little cliff admiring the morning screeches of the dragons. I heard feminine laughter in the air and looked across to see Luna and StormFly flying around throwing and catching each other. I will never understand how most female dragons get up this early.. I felt a warm little hand on my shoulder and turned around to see Hiccup in a brown night gown. "Hey Tooth! How'd you sleep?" He sat next to me and laughed at the sight of Luna and StormFly mucking around. "They are literally adorable together!" He said. I nodded in agreement. "Here I made this for you!" He handed me a mug of a warm delightful drink. "What is it?" I asked. "It's called Mead! Just a sweet, fermented drink that is traditional for Vikings to have. If I was a viking.."

I took a sip and my pupils widened. "It tastes delicious!" I said swallowing the warm sweet drink. "Funny because I never really liked it." Hiccup said. "Well I'd like to ask why the fuck do you not?" I laughed and Hiccup nudged me playfully in the shoulder. "So what we got planned for today?" he then asked. I thought for a minute... "maybe I should get to know the locals?" Though something inside told me that they already knew me... strange..

*NOBODY POV*

Toothless decided to go on a morning flight without Hiccup for now since he wanted to properly get ready. "Looks seem too matter more to humans than they do to dragons.." he thought. He saw a slight crowd of dragons and in the centre was Luna linking arms with StormFly! Toothless decided he'd fly down and meet up with them. "Hey hey ladies! I see you two have gotten closer~!" He said as he landed in the middle of the crowd next to StormFly and Luna whose faces had now gone red. "Oh shush Toothless!" Luna said laughing slightly embarrassed but with red cheeks and a bright smile. "Haha- anyways you've gone for a morning flight as well I see!" StormFly said and Toothless nodded in agreement. "So what are you guys doing here?" He then asked.

"Oh I wanted to introduce StormFly to my friends!" Luna said with pride. "But come to think of it, I'll introduce you as well!" She said yanking Toothless by the shoulder and making him stand up straight next to StormFly. "Everyone! This is my other friend Toothless!" The crowd whispered and all they could make our were the words "Night fury..." , "Heir to the throne.." , "The Alpha's nephew..." Toothless looked back at StormFly and Luna who looked just as confused as he was. "Uhh.." He let out. Out of nowhere the dragons bowed down making Toothless's confusion only worse.. "Ok erm.. I demand one of you to tell me what is going on!" He said pretending to be all full of pride when he was actually so confused. A male Deadly Nadder stepped up and cleared his throat.

"You look very young and I get this will hard to take in but... My dear boy, your the alpha of the Hidden World... you are heir to the throne." Toothless's pupils turned into slits from shock and he slowly backed away. "I knew it.." he murmured. "I think I need to sit down..." He said nearly collapsing on Luna and StormFly.

~A few moments later~

The gang had a meeting and Toothless was leaning on Hiccup's shoulder buried in his thoughts despite being taller than him. "Crazy to believe that your the king bud.." Hiccup said. "I don't understand why he is literally saying nothing! I mean.. KING OF DRAGONS! What an honour!" StormFly said. "Yeah well that's the thing Storm.. being a ruler is more your thing.. not mine!" He said raising his voice. Luna stepped up and spoke, "I mean he is right.. being king is a lot of responsibility to handle.." Hiccup put a hand on Toothless's shoulder as he sat up. "Toothless.. Your blue blood.." Toothless slowly nodded resting his head on his hands. "You'll be the greatest king ever to exist." He said to try lighten his spirit. Toothless looked over at Hiccup, staring deep into his Forest green eyes that clearly had hope.
