"Enemies" to..lovers? (ToothCup)

What a lovely day to write a new chapter! I am so sorry for the wait! A lot of stuff has been going on and I couldn't find time to write this..

*HICCUP POV*

I was awoken by the screeches of my children from
The bassinets directly opposite me and Toothless's bed. I heard Toothless groan tightening his grip on me making it clear he didn't want me to move! "Toothless! They need me let me go." He grunted out of annoyance and then rolled to the other side letting me go. I got up slowly and went over to the bassinets gently picking both my babies up as they continued to cry.

It had been nearly three weeks since I gave birth and the twins were perfectly healthy! Most of the Hidden world was alerted on their arrival and congratulated me and Toothless while giving me a good well done. Yikes.. Hope I don't have to go through that pain again. Yes it has been one of the most painful experiences in my entire life, but! It was worth it. Never thought of being a mother yet I don't regret a thing. I sat down on the foot of the bed and gently rocked them in my arms to hush them. Both their cheeks were wet with tears. "Hush down little ones. I'm right here.." They slowly stopped and then let out small yawns&gurgles before settling down. I went to lay them back down in their bassinets but I then felt a clawed hand on my shoulder. "I see your finally up!" I chuckled before turning around to see Toothless stand there with tired eyes and opened arms.

Of course, I needed a hug. I dug my head in his hard chest as he wrapped his arms around mine which were nesting the twins. "I see they got up early." He said. I nodded in agreement and he then took them from my arms, easily setting them down in the bassinets. I yawned and felt as if I was going to collapse in Toothless's strong arms. He got the hint and picked me up, carrying me back to the bed. "Don't we need to get up babe..?" I said tiredly. "We can stay in bed for another hour!" He replied brightly.

"Alright if you say so mr bossy!" I chuckled. We both lay down and closed our eyes to rest for a little longer and while I'm sure Toothless was fast asleep, I was thinking on what we could do for the day! Now that I think of it... I haven't seen my mother in quite a while so that would be a good idea! It would be great to see her again and introduce her to her grandchildren! Heh.. She'll be overwhelmed with joy. I felt myself yawn and I didn't think I was THIS tired.

Though fortunately, I let the tiredness take over me and I was fast asleep.

*NOBODY POV*

Toothless woke up to a still asleep Hiccup. He chuckled at how cute he was when he was asleep. He wrapped his arms around him and purred as he let out small giggles. "Good morning my love! It seems that the extra hour of sleep did you well." He said with happiness. "Y'know.. I thought about something we could do today!" Toothless raised a brow and smirked wondering what his mate had in mind this time. "Oh yeah? What do you have in mind then?" Hiccup smiled to himself at the thought. "Why don't we see my mother! We could introduce her to the twins and probably Fishmeat if the gang decide to tag along!" He said clearly getting over-excited. Toothless thought it was quite a good idea and the others could use a break from the Hidden World so it was perfect!

"What a good idea! Buuut are you sure you can fly that far..? It's not even been three weeks since you gave birth. Your not a full blood dragon so it's not in your nature to be properly up and running after delivering like it is a little after female dragons have JUST laid eggs." He stated while slowly sitting up and rubbing his eyes. Hiccup smiled and said, "Don't worry! I'll be fine and if I feel tired or strained then you can carry me I guess..." Toothless laughed a bit at what he said and then came up with a suggestion. "How about we host a meeting at the centre so we can alert everyone that we'll be leaving?" He said "Yeah! It will be good that they know we are leaving for the day or possibly two-" He chuckled. "Great! Let's get ready." The dragon said flying out of bed and rushing into their bathroom. "I'll take care of ME and the twins then..!" Hiccup said in a slightly annoyed tone as he heard a cheeky laugh from the bathroom.
