*NOBODY POV*

The gang had met up due to yet another announcement! This little meeting was hosted by Hookfang and Meatlug. "Wonder what they are going to tell us.." Hiccup said gliding next to Toothless and the gang. "I bet they have broken up." Barf said. "Nooope I bet they got pregnant and Meatlug laid an egg." Belch said. "YOU WANNA BET?" Barf said growling at Belch who growled back. 

"Hey.. HEY!" Toothless roared making them stop and stare at Toothless nervously. "I thought we agreed NO BETS! For at least a month." He said. The twins rolled their eyes and slowly nodded. "Yes sire.." they said. It was silent for a few minutes but that silence was broken when Hiccup cried out a bit, his arms immediately wrapping around his lower abdomen. Everyone turned to look at him. "Are you ok Hiccup?!" Toothless said in a worried voice as he glided closer to his mate. "I-i'm fine... just got a strong wave of cramping.. Strange.. I never get cramps." StormFly and Luna looked at each other getting a good idea on what it could be.

They made it to the gang's casual hangout spot and saw Hookfang waiting there greeting them. "Hey my dudes!" He said. "Normally you'd shoot us with fire as a greeting- not this." Hiccup said as he landed, his dragon features disappearing. "Something good happened clearly." Toothless said while putting his hand on Hiccup's shoulder leaning forward. "Well Toothless- you are right." Hookfang said smiling. He then stepped aside revealing Meatlug who was holding a basket with an egg in it. "Surprise!" They both said.

It was once again silent until Belch looked over at Barf and began squealing. "I WON THE BET BITCH!" He yelled. Toothless let out a long, low roar making them shut up, again. "Nobody is getting anything... NO BETS!" He said. All the attention went back to Meatlug and Hookfang as they held the basket up with their claws. Everyone began cheering and squealing of joy! Who knew that the dragons which hated each other the most could end up breeding! "I can't wait for the egg to hatch!" Luna said gently caressing the shell as StormFly stood behind smiling. "So I guess you guys do deep down love each other!" StormFly said chuckling. "I'm glad you two managed to breed!" Hiccup said as Toothless slowly nodded.

"Tooothlesssssss!" Belch groaned from behind. "Yes?" He responded quite annoyed. "Can we pleaseee bet on the gender?" Hiccup couldn't help but chuckle a bit when he asked that. The twins were always betting and arguing. This was very much normal! Toothless sighed and smiled at Hiccup who was giggling. "Alright. But don't bet massive amounts of whatever your betting on! I don't want anyone to go bankrupt." Toothless said chuckling as Barf and Belch cheered and flew to a corner to discuss the bet.

*HICCUP POV*

Toothless had really learnt the ways to be a great king! He knows how to order his people and how to provide. He is good at everything and has all the traits that are present in a strong, handsome, worthy Alpha. I love him so much.. But..

There is something wrong with me. I've not felt myself. I don't know if it is dragon instincts or I'm unwell but.. I've gotten small stomach cramps every now and then, I've gotten defensive if anyone gets too close to me and I've noticed that I have slightly gained weight?! I don't know what's happening but I don't like it. I was so buried in my thoughts that I didn't even realise that everyone else was talking and discussing baby names or what the gender could be!

I only realised this when Luna called out my name a bit louder than usual and I snapped out of it. Luna was giving me a confused smile and handed me a fish skewer. I was about to bite down but I immediately dropped it and cried in pain as I felt another wave of cramps go through my stomach. Attention went to me and everyone's faces lit up in worry. "Oh gods I didn't do something did I..?" Luna asked in concern.
