In the dead silence of the morning His eyes open. He stays completely still in his bed for a moment before getting up and going to the bathroom to get ready for the day. He slowly makes his way to the bathroom sink and splashes the icy cold water on his face. A voice begins to chatter in his head. "How long are you going to let this go on here? Just do it already, she's turning him against you."

He grits his teeth and responds to the voice in a low morning tone. "Shut up. He is my son and he won't turn on me that quick, you know nothing." The voice gives out an echoing low chuckle before mocking him further. "It's already happening, he's never home, he's always with her. You know she's trying to turn everyone against you Kevin."

Kevin slams his fist on the bathroom counter and takes a deep breath. "No! I'll do it my way. I have plans. The villagers already like me. Today we go a step further, he is on his way. They can't lock me up or accuse me of anything without proof anyways."

Kevin lets out an eerie chuckle, "it's a good thing I chose police work wherever we go, I know all of the laws and regulations. They can't touch me and Adam knows it." The voice chimes back at him, "But the girl! She's in the way. She will catch up, especially with Elliot on her side. They'll find your secrets and then they will catch you."

Kevin shakes his head, "No, no she won't. If she continues to dig than she'll end up digging her own grave. " A low knocking on the front door interrupts his inner conversation. Kevin makes his way to the front door and takes a second to put on a normal facial expression before opening it. "Good morning..- Oh it's just you, come in"

The skinny stranger enters the house with a grin on his face and his hands in his pockets. "You said it was urgent and to be here early." Kevin rolls his eyes and grins. "Yes, nice to see that you know how to listen still." The stranger sits in a chair in the living room. "So, what's the plan for today? Can I do something exciting now? I didn't break out of prison with that idiot just to play around Kevin."

Kevin holds a hand up and shoots the stranger a look to cut through him. "Enough. Today you can injure someone. I don't care who, as long as you do what you're told. I'm going to get dressed for "work" and when I get up there I want you to sneak into the village shopping center. You can stab somebody, destroy some shopping stand or whatever. Don't kill, not yet. When I get down there I'm going to catch you and lock you up. I'll let you back out of course."

The stranger gives him a spine tingling smile. "Ok, that's more like it. What is the purpose though? Normally I wouldn't care, but you seem to have a reason." Kevin turns away towards the hallway. "To gain trust of course, get the villagers to trust me more and feel like Adam is unable to handle the situation and it'll be even harder to put me away."

The stranger gets up and follows him down the hall. "Hmm, I see. When are we going to attack that girl? The one running around playing detective with your son. She's pretty." Kevin glances at him for a minute and starts putting on his uniform. "Not yet, I know you want her. After this is all over I couldn't care less what you do.  I hate her, her and her family. She's in my way trying to play hero. Makes me sick."

Kevin finishes getting ready and turns to the stranger. "Just hide and wait until I leave. wait a moment after I'm gone and look out of this small window. Once I'm inside the station than you go do it." The stranger gets into position. "Wait, how will you know when I've started?"

Kevin takes a breath, "Because, I know that at least one coward in this village will run crying wolf to the station. They don't know how to properly defend themselves. They've gotten to live without fear until we showed up. They're weak."

He slowly walks towards the front door. When he reaches the living room, the front door knob starts turning. Kevin instantly throws on a fake morning smile when the door opens. It's Elliot and Amelia. Elliot smiles when he walks in. "Hey dad, I came to change my clothes. It's been a couple of days and I feel gross. Oh, Adam said to tell you that you're late by the way."
