First Chapter of Future Stories: Part 3

Invisible Child

Molly always felt like she was invisible as a human. No one noticed her, not even her own family. She was the middle child. Not the perfect daughter, like her older sister or the apple of her parents eyes like her baby brother. Only he seemed to notice her, she loved her little brother. She was just a week away from her 12th birthday. When she taken from the only light in her life.

She had been walking home through the park after losing track of time. The sun had set and she had missed dinner. As she walked through the empty park she spots a loose flier flying through the air. She stretched her hand out automatically and caught it.

As she looked at it, she recognized the missing boy on the flier. Riley Biers. He had gone missing nearly six months ago. In April. It's mid October now. The only night she wished she had been invisible. Instead she was found by Riley.

"Hello" Riley says in his musical vampire voice. Molly looks up surprised. She had to squint to see him as her eyes are only human.

"You're him" she mutters and looks at the flier in her hand. "Riley Biers" she says and looks back up. Only to stumble back in surprise at how close he had gotten. Not having heard him make a sound.

"Yes" he says. "What is your name?" he asks.

"Molly" she answers. "Why do you have sunnies on? It's night out" she states confused. He doesn't answer.

"You are alone" he states cocking his head to the side. Molly frowns, he's weird. "Do you want to be friends?" he asks. Molly blinks, why would an eighteen year old boy want to be friends with an 11 nearly 12 year old? It makes no sense.

"Oh a snack" another voice says as 16 year old boy appears.

"No Raoul, a new friend" Riley says with a smirk.

"But she smells so nice" the other boy groans.

"You know the rules!" Riley snaps with a hiss.

"I should go" Molly tells them. "My parents will be worried" she states.

"Really?" Riley asks with a false smile. "I thought you didn't exist to them" he states and she freezes. Riley grabs her and takes her to the warehouse. He puts her down and she stumbles confused. What had happened?

"Welcome to the army" a voice hisses as she grabs Molly from behind. She then bites into her neck. Injecting her with her venom. Before letting Molly fall to the ground riving in pain. Screaming as the venom burns through her. "What a beautiful girl, what made you choose her?" Victoria asks Riley.

"She seems to be invisible to everyone around her, I thought it'd lead to a potential gift" he states.

"A gift is always useful" Victoria states with a nod. "But she looks young" she adds. "How old?" she asks.

"12 I think" Riley answers.

"Good, this is an army. We don't need an immortal child drawing attention to us" Victoria mutters. "Now go find me someone to eat" she tells him and he nods his head. He picked up Molly and took her to were some others were waiting for the change to be complete. He lays her down and then left.

(2 days later) Molly's POV

I wake confused, but see the world in perfect clarity. I can see everything, even the dust particles in the air. What had happened to me? Why do I feel so strange? I raise my hand and frown. I look so pale, a lot paler then normal. I take a breath, but feel no relief. Like I didn't need air to live. But I smelt so many different scents around me. Then my hearing suddenly gets my attention. I could hear breathing around, hear others crying in pain, the breaking of rocks.

I sit up and look around confused. I am along. I blink as I hear footsteps approaching. I hear the door open and suddenly I'm pressed against a wall in a defensive crouch snarling at the intruders. It was Riley and Raoul. They look around confused. "Where is she?" Raoul asks Riley.

"Quiet" Riley snaps as I hold my breath. Watching them warily. They did this to me. Riley surveys the room. "Molly!" he calls gently. "We mean no harm" he states. I scoff and he looks straight at me. But can't seem to see me. He smirks happily. "I was right" he states.

"About what?" Raoul asks.

"She's gifted and still here" Riley states. "Molly, I know you are scared and have many questions. But it you show yourself I will explain everything" he states.

"Promise?" I ask as I relax and he looks straight at me. Then smiles.

"There you are" he says. "Now you're a vampire and are apart of an army. You'll hunt soon" he tells me.

"Hunt?" I ask.

"I bet your thirsty" Raoul says with a smirk. Suddenly I feel a burning in my throat and grab it. "Oh she's thirsty" he says with a smirk.

"Soon Raoul, she needs the basics" Riley tells him. "Now Molly, what we are is a secret. Humans can't know about us. We eat blood, human blood. Now there is a coven who own Seattle. But once we take them out, we can have all the blood we want" he states.

"But that'll hurt people" I state. "Kill people" I say.

"So?" Raoul asks.

"Killing people is bad" I tell him. He groans rolling his eyes.

"You'll get over that soon" Riley tells me with a shrug. "Anyway, lets go hunt" he states.

"No" I say. Not moving from my spot. I won't kill people. I'm not a monster.

"What did you say?" Riley asks me.

"I won't kill people, you can't make me" I growl glaring at him. He glares back.

"I am six years older then you, you will listen to me" he growls.

"Just because you're 18 and I'm 11, doesn't mean you can boss me around" I snap. He freezes.

"11?" he says shocked. I use it and run. I don't know where I'm going, but I won't stay here and become a monster. I'm gone before they can even stop me.

(Warehouse) Third Persons POV

"God damn it" Riley curses. "Sound the alarm, go after her" he orders Raoul then goes to Victoria. "I was wrong, she's 11 not 12" he states. Victoria snarls. "I've sent the others after her, but she has the gift on invisibility and is the youngest. I'm gonna go help them look for her" he explains quickly.

"She is to be killed on sight" Victoria tells him. "Try her family's house, kill anyone who knows her. We can't let anyone know about an immortal child" she states. He nods and left to give the order. But Molly was already out of the city. After coming across her first human, she realized she was to dangerous to be around her baby brother. So she left for the woods and started to live off animal blood.

Overtime, though she learnt to master her ability. Though it didn't hide her scent. It allowed her to spy on Victoria's army. As well as her conversations with Riley. When she heard of the Cullens and of Bella. She became curious, what would compel Victoria to target a lone human? Why would a coven protect said human? It made no sense to her.

But she vowed to find out, so decided to spy on Bella. She found her alone and unprotected. No other vampire in sight. And by the scent of the house she had found, they had been gone for months. Molly was unsure what to do. Did she tell the army? But that wouldn't stop Victoria killing Bella. Then what if she kills the army once they are no longer of any use? She already wants Molly dead. What should she do?
