First Chapter of Future Stories: Part 3

Pack Breeder: Jewel

Jewel Cameron was a normal girl living in La Push. She has a loving mother and an amazing brother. Though they aren't as close as they used to be. Ever sinced, he shifted, and she wasn't allowed to know. But what happens when two pack members imprint on her and she becomes the pack breeder? I know a horrible name. It's just what they were called a hundred years ago as they had more than one wolf imprint on them and often mothered children from each wolf that imprinted on her. But Jewel is only thirteen, so what will this mean for her?

Jewel's POV

I'm so pissed off at Jared, he promised we'd hang out tonight. But then cancelled as Sam had called. At first it was fine when they were friends. But ever since they cut their hair and got tattoos. Jared doesn't have time for me anymore, and I hate it. I miss my big brother.

Along with my best friend Seth, who I haven't seen since his dad's funeral. His father, Harry Clearwater, had suffered a heart attack and didn't make it. Seth had also cut his hair and got a tattoo, along with his older sister Leah. Their mum is now a council member.

It sucks. It feels like everyone important to me is leaving me. Sure, I still have mum. But she can't replace my brother or my best friend. Or my other friends who are now popular and stopped being friends with me. Apparently, they only became my friends to get close to Jared and Seth. But as I hardly see them now, the girls stopped being my friends.

So I now had no one to sit with me at lunch. While Seth now hangs with Sam's gang. With Jared, Paul, Embry, and Jacob. Well, that's not entirely true. Quil has sat with me occasionally. Jacob and Embry used to be his best friends before they joined Sam's gang. though Quil has been sick for a week and hasn't been at school.

Anyway, I'm outside sitting on the roof, looking up at the stars. It's a semi clear night. With only the occasional cloud blocking the moon. I heard a few wolf howls and smiles. Wolves are my favourite animals. I cup my hands and howl.

I hear one reply very close by. I look at the forest, squinting and see a pair of eyes lock with mine. We just continue to stare until Mum calls me in. Saying it was time I went to bed. "Coming mum," I state and go in by my window. I got ready for bed and called it a night.

Third person's POV

"DID YOU JUST IMPRINT ON MY SISTER?!" Jared demands snarling through the mind link.

"Jared focus," Sam snaps.

"Yo Sam, Quil is phasing!" Leah states. Sam curses. Why did this have to happen tonight? When he and the majority of the pack are trying to catch and kill the vampire Victoria with the Cullens.

"Seth, go help Leah. The rest of you focus on the vampire. She's going to jump back to our side soon, " Sam orders.

"Yes, alpha," we chorus. Victoria does just as Sam predicted. What he didn't predict was Emmett Cullen trying to follow her on to pack land. Paul cuts him off, pushing him back onto the Cullen side into the creek. They snarl at each other.

While the pack and Cullen's were distracted with each other. Sam trying to calm Pau,  while Carlisle did the same with Emmett. Jasper used his gift, to calm everyone. Carlisle assured Sam it was accident and that it wouldn't happen again. He also promised to call if Victoria planned on making another reappearance.

Sam ordered Jared to escort Paul home. Before going to deal with Quil with Jacob amd Embry. Once Paul was home, Jared went home. "Your sister is mad with you " his mother states as soon as he enters the house.

"It was an emergency," Jared tells her.

"You promised you'd hangout with her tonight. Then cancelled at the last minute " she retorts.

"I'll make it up to her" he assures her. He then kisses her cheek. "Good night, mum," he says and headed upstairs. He pokes his head into Jewel's room and sighs sadly. He hates that he hasn't been able to spend time with her for nearly a year. But that'll change now, since she'll soon find out about shifters. Due to Seth imprinting on her. He wishes her a silent good night before going to bed himself.

(Next day) Jewel's POV

Jared actually gave me a lift to school today. Which is strange as he hasn't done it since he cut his hair. I thanked him, before heading to class. On the way, I pump into another of Sam's gang. I think his name is Embry, by Quil's description. We locked eyes and he freezed on shock.

"Watch where you're going," I tell him. Before walking around and set off for class. Trying not to think about how hot he is. I've never really noticed boys before, but he is hot. Though Seth is cute. I shake my head as I take my seat and focus on the class.

Embry's POV

oh crap, I just imprinted on Jared's little sister.  But how could that be? Seth imprinted on her last night. Two wolves have never imprinted on a single person before. Have they?  I have to talk to the elders. And I cannot let Seth or Jared find out. Seth would want to kill me and Jared flip his lid.

I decide to skip school and go straight to Billy. This would be the only time I can speak to him alone. With Jake at school, before his sister returns home from uni. I arrive and see him on the porch. "Embry, shouldn't you be on school" he says confused.

"I know I should be, but we have a situation" I tell him.

"Another vampire?" Billy asks.

"No, I imprinted," I tell him.

"How is that a problem?" he asks confused.

"Because Seth imprinted on the same girl last night" I state. "That's impossible right? Two wolves can't imprint on the same person" I ask. He turns and heads inside, motioning me to follow. I do so.

He heads to his study and grabs an old journal. He starts to flip through it. "Here it is, the legend of the pack breeder. It has only happened once in recorded history. At a time when many vampires threatened the tribe. We lost many spirit warriors and only three remained. All three imprinted on the same woman.

They moved here and started a new life together. She pour a children to each. Creating many new spirit warriors to protect the new land they called home. Others joined their tribe and it grew. Many years passed before cold ones appeared in the new world and threatened the tribe again. When the third wife saved the tribe" he explains.

"So what does that mean for Jewel, Seth and I? We're all supposed to be together?" I ask. "She's thirteen" I add. As I begin to pace.

"We'll sort it out, but this is a bad sign. If a pack breeder has been chosen after all this time. Many vampires must be threatening the tribe in the near future. We must alert Sam and the council" he states.

"What about Jewel?" I demand.

"We'll discuss that too, but I advice you and Seth refrain from telling her the truth for now. Until we can determine if the threat is real" he states.

"Jared is going to kill Seth and I" I groan.

"Go back to school" he tells me as he rolls over to the phone. "Tell no one" he adds.

"Everyone is going to find out on the run tonight. Sam wanted us all to show the three newbies the border" I tell him. I'm overjoyed that Quil knows now and is one of us. But now Jared is going kill me along with Seth. I have to tell Jake before patrol. So that he can help me out tonight along with Sam. So much for a peaceful pack run tonight.
