inFAMOUS: The Conduit and The Meta Meet

Chapter 1: Goodbye Seattle, Hello Central City

In Seattle

Delsin was running around and jumping from one rooftop to another. He couldn't believe he had finally beaten Augustine and freed the Conduits from Curdun Cay.

Then Smoke Dashed down to the ground at a TV and heard a report say "We are getting reports of Meta-humans being killed in Central City by a killer named Cicada. The Flash, Velocity, and their team are doing everything they can to stop, Cicada, but have been unsuccessful."

Then Delsin got a call and answered, "Yup, what's going on?"

A girl's voice says over the phone "Hey, D. Did you hear the news?"

Delsin knew it was Abigail or Fetch and said, "Yeah, I did, Fetch. What about it?"

Fetch says "You should go to Central City to see if you can stop this meta-human."

Delsin says "I was thinking about it too. You know what's funny?"

Fetch asks "What?"

Delsin says "How do they get to be called Meta-humans and we get to be called conduits? That's bullshit if you ask me."

Fetch chuckles and says "They still had the same problems as us. Being called freaks and all that."

Delsin says "True. Can you hold the fort while I'm gone?"

Fetch says "Sure, me and Teen Angel can."

Delsin says "All right, let Eugene know I'm leaving."

Fetch says "You got it, D. Be safe."

Delsin says "I will, Fetch. Bye."

And the phone call ends.

Delsin sighs and says "I wish you were here, Reggie."

He absorbed some neon and ran out of the city limits and ran all the way to Central City.

As he was running he started to remember what Reggie said when they were driving to Seattle.

Flashback

Delsin was in the passenger seat and turned to Reggie and said, "Alright, I got this whole thing figured out, okay? We... we hit the town, we load up at the all-you-can-leech 'Conduit Power' buffet, maybe swing by the Space Needle, always wanted to see it, and then we're back home to save some lives."

Reggie says "You do realize when we 'hit the town', there's a fair chance the town's gonna, you know... hit back?"

Delsin was confused and said, "What does that even mean?"

Reggie says "It means that Seattle has a half a million people that aren't exactly thrilled about the Bio-terrorists that are already there. You think they're gonna welcome you?"

Delsin says "No, but I'm gonna be different, okay?"

Reggie interrupts "Oh, okay..."

Delsin continues "I'm not there doing what they do, I'm there to save lives! I'm gonna be like Superman. I'll be healing the sick and..."

Reggie interrupts again "Right. Yeah. Hey Hero, what... you think they're going to throw you a parade? Wake up, man."

Reggie saw Delsin just look out the window to ignore him and said, "Look, don't worry, Del, alright? We're going to fix this thing. We're going to find you a cure."

Delsin says "A 'Cure'?!"

Reggie says "Shootin' smoke out of your fingertips isn't exactly normal, man."
