Chapter 23: Damien and Nora's Date

At the Emily-Allen Foundation

Damien was walking in.

Damien asks "Hey, guys." when he sees Team Flash.

Harry looks at him and says "Hey, kiddo. What's up?"

Damien shrugs and says "I'm not sure. After all, we've been searching for Cicada, but we can't find him. And yet, here we are. And, since I'm no longer attached to Venom, my head's been so clear, like I can finally be me. I'm finally free."

Harry smiles and says "Good."

Damien clears his throat and says "There's something else you all should know?"

Cecile asks "What is it, honey?"

Damien said, "Damian West-Allen, my other name. My... dead name. That was me, but... my memories of all of you... I was given two different bodies. So, I guess you could say, that I was given two chances, by the Speed Force. I know I said that the other me is a time remnant but he's not."

Nora said, "Then what are you two?"

Damien sighs and says "He is me. I am him. But, he doesn't remember all of you. All of those memories were given to me. I guess you could say, I'm another doppelganger for this Earth, to give you all the Damian you all missed.  So, you got me back. But I don't remember everything I used to remember."

Harry sighs and says "We don't care. We're just glad to have our boy back. We love the one we met and shared all the memories with. We don't care that you are a doppelganger of the original Damian. We just care that you remember everything we went through, with Venom, with everything."

Damien nodded and said, "Thank you. All of you."

Caitlin walked over wrapped her arm around Harry's waist and said, "We love you, Damien. Not the other one."

Damien looked at Nora and asked, "You wanna go on a date? Just you and me? The sun hitting our faces?"

Nora smiled and said, "Yes. I would."

Nora walked over and kissed his cheek and they all waved bye as they left the Cortex.

At Jitters

Nora was getting their coffee and cronuts.

Damien was looking out the window smiling that the Multiverse had been reborn.

Happy that he can explore the relationship he now can have with Nora Emily Allen.

Damien turned to her, who was smiling at him waiting for their coffees and cronuts.

Damien smiles back at her.

No Venom, No Cicada, No Anti-Monitor, No Parademons, and No Crisis.

Damien was happy now more than ever.

Nora walked over and sat down.

Nora said, "Sorry, for the wait, babe. But, I'm sure it is worth the wait."

Damien smiles.

Nora says "I'm so happy that I have you back."

Damien said, "I'm glad I have you back as well. You're my everything. Everything I have ever wanted."

Nora said, "What about my doppelganger? Nora West-Allen? Do you remember her at all?"

Damien nods slowly and says "I do. But, you Nora, are my main Nora. Not her. You. Cause, I love you."

Nora smiled and said, "I love you, so much."

Damien and she shared a kiss, and then a warning sound from the TV started to play.

They turned to the TV and saw a newslady say "Hello. This is Sarah Kline from Channel 7 News. We are getting reports of Astroids coming down to Earth. A similar reading was read from Central City, many months ago, but was lost in the crash. And many more are on the way. So everyone stay, safe from the park today in Central City."

Damien says "Darling, come on. They said it was a similar reading to the one that was from many months ago. That was Venom. Which would mean..."

Nora turns to Damien and says "More Symbiotes. Not good."

Damien nods and says "We got to go back to the lab."

They both nod and leave back to the lab.
