'I mustn't allow myself to be distracted. I must find Lyria and make it up to her so that she doesn't continue acting out just to grab my attention.' Lady Azura told herself whilst scouring around Dreadfort in the hope of coming across Lyria. She had no idea of whereabouts Lyria could be because of her unpredictable behaviour at the moment. At long last Azura found Fractureverse Lyria hanging around outside a tailors for some reason but it was clear that she was up to no good. "Ah there you are Lyria. I know you are cross with me and that I haven't given you enough attention but we can sort this out in a civilised manner and have a proper conversation. I am open to listening to your concerns." She said in a kind and gently approach.
Fractureverse Lyria paused for a moment. She had known that when she had pulled another version of herself through the mirror and stepped through to the other side, she was aware that it would different but to what extent she did not know at the time. However now that she had spent a decent amount of time here, she quickly realised that this reality was just a complete reflection of her own. This meant that everyone in the Frostbourne were far better people than the ones in her reality, so she was wondering that if she chose to stay, then how much could she take advantage of their kind nature. "Mmm..k.. so what do you propose then?" She asked out of curiosity. Lady Azura relaxed a little in knowing that she was willing to now have a discussion.
"How about I find a day when we can both study and work with the end crystals together? Just you and me all day." Lady Azura suggested in thinking that this could potentially be a solution. Fractureverse Lyria's eyes lit up but not because the idea of them spending time together, which is what Azura had thought. Her interest had increased by the mention of end crystals. In her reality the Frostbourne never had any and there was little chance of her ever getting hold of one unless... "Yeah sure why not." Agreed Fractureverse Lyria. "I knew we could repair things between us. I will make sure that this happens and I do not let anything else get in the way." Azura said delighted and with this arrangement now in place, they parted ways for the time being.
Later in the day, Fractureverse Lyria came across Lord Patrick. He was standing near the edge of the frozen lake with a notebook and quill in his hand. He saw Fractureverse Lyria walk past out of the corner of his eye and looked up from his notebook. "Lieutenant Lyria come over here as I wish to speak to you." He called summoning her over. Fractureverse Lyria did not salute him nor acknowledge him when she came nearer. "You are not making things easy for yourself are you." Lord Patrick sighed at her lack of respect. "Oh forgive me then your royal highness." She smirked sarcastically whilst curtsying. "There's no need for that!" He said firmly. "Then how should I address you, your majesty?" She asked a little more serious this time as she did not know if in this reality he considered himself to be worthy enough to proclaim himself as king.
Lord Patrick almost did not know how to respond to what to him seemed like childish behaviour. "You know very well to address me as Lord Patrick or sire so please do not waste my time with..." he hesitated as he tried to look for a word that best described it. "...stupidities." He said at last. "Fine I won't bother wasting your time. I don't know why you call me over here in the first place." Huffed Fractureverse Lyria. "Now that's exactly the reason I wished to speak to you about this outrageous..." he yelled as his patience ran out, however he was not able to finish because Fractureverse Lyria had pushed him having heard enough of his.
Lord Patrick stumbled back and lost his footing and due to him being so close to the waters edge, he was unable to prevent himself from falling into the lake. The ice broke almost immediately under the combined weight of him and his heavy armour. The freezing temperatures of the water were extremely dangerous because even the best of swimmers could stiffen up and drown from cold water shock. Patrick had the extra problem of his armor weighing him down and he frailed his arms around in the desperate attempt to try and keep his head above water despite the water seeping through his armor and continued to drag him down.
