Lyria began to regain her consciousness and she could hear voices. At first she was unable to make out who's they were or what they were saying. She opened her eyes slightly and she could just about see that she was in some kind of cell made out of obsidian walls with iron bars being the replacement for windows behind which was the orange glow of lava. The bars were clearly enchanted to prevent the lava from leaking through them. The lava was also the only light source in the room giving the cell an almost cozy feeling to it. On the other side of the cell to her, Lyria could see Fractureverse Hilda chained up to the wall with Fractureverse Hogsworth interrogating her. She now recognised their voices.

For some reason she was left lying on the floor and was not at all tied up in any way. She tried to lift her head so she could have a better look of her surroundings however she was hit with a pounding headache causing her to allow her head to rest back onto the floor. Both Fractureverse Hilda and Fractureverse Hogsworth heard this and they both looked over to where she was. "I see someone's finally woken up." Said Fractureverse Hogsworth. "Lyria, get to your feet at once and help me! No one's tied you up." Ordered Fractureverse Hilda. Lyria remained where she was. She had an extremely high fever, her head felt like it had been smashed up and her side hurt a great deal after something had struck it before she passed out. "She's not going anywhere like that. Now I suggest you answer my questions." Exclaimed Fractureverse Hogsworth.

Fractureverse Hilda rolled her eyes. "I've already told you I'll never do that." She replied before taking a deep breath as she was clearly losing her patience with Lyria. "Oh don't think you've escaped my wrath, little girl. You may have lived to tell the tale more than on one occasion but mark my words that your luck will run out!" She screeched in anger. Lyria did not fully understand what she was talking about. Sure the commander had tried to kill her once but apparently she had attempted to do so a number of times. "Wa...it whe...n?" Lyria asked as she struggled to form words to speak. "I've tried pushing you off a balcony, I've tried drowning you, I've tried poisoning you and I've even tried to bury you alive in a coffin. Yet each time without failure you've managed to escape your doom. Oh but when we win the war then no more clever schemes to get rid of you. Oh no... I'll straight up slaughter you!" Fractureverse Hilda ranted threateningly.

Lyria had begun to tune out of the conversation as her body started shutting down again to conserve energy and so it was Fractureverse Hogsworth who replied to the commander. "I'm sorry but you think you'll win the war?" He choked, almost laughing. "Yes. We're already winning." Gloated Fractureverse Hilda. "Oh I see by getting your entire battalion, minus one, killed and ending up as a prisoner of war, that you're still winning the war." He said, still trying to contain his laughter. Fractureverse Hilda lost her confidence briefly but before she could think of a good argument, the piston operated doors slid open. Both officers forgot about their 'little disagreement' for a moment when Fractureverse Kaia stepped into the cell.

"Have you found anything out yet General?" Fractureverse Kaia inquired, looking over at him. "No, nothing of any help to us." He sighed. Fractureverse Kaia turned her attention away from them when she saw the state Lyria was in. "How long's she been like that?" She asked as she went over to kneel down next to the girl. "Oh since we brought her here, although she did wake up a few minutes ago, although she's been acting kinda strange." He explained. Despite what the general had said it seemed that the girl was now asleep again. "She's got a fever." Fractureverse Kaia announced after feeling her forehead. Lyria barely responded to this by letting out a small moan. "Oh... I didn't realise. Maybe we should take her jacket off to cool her down." Suggested Fractureverse Hogsworth. "No she needs medical attention. We can't just leave her here." Replied Fractureverse Kaia firmly as Fractureverse Hogsworth approached them.

"We can't do that! What if she's making it up and she's just a bit hot? You know what trouble she likes to cause." He cried. "I am aware of that but we're not going to lower ourselves to their standards by not treating her. In a way I'm not surprised by the way she is considering the upbringing she's had." She explained taking pity on the teenager. "You're too soft sometimes you know that. I just hope you don't regret this." He huffed. "I know but I'm glad you understand." She replied before calling in 2 guards that were standing outside the cell. Carefully they picked Lyria up and carried her away with Fractureverse Hilda shouting. "You better be lying about being ill and you'd better sneak off as soon as you have the chance and bust me outta here!"
