Even though Lyria had successfully won, Fractureverse Lyria was not going to give up and surrender and struggled to try and free herself from Lyria's grasp. Lyria was only just keeping hold of her by clutching Fractureverse Lyria's hands tightly behind her back. That was when she saw Lady Azura land in front of them. "Quickly untie her shoelaces so we can use them to tie her up." Lyria explained to Azura. "Good thinking." Replied Azura as she bent down and began untying Fractureverse Lyria's shoes. As soon as they had managed to tie Fractureverse Lyria up to prevent her from moving, Azura decided to ask Lyria to clarify everything to which Lyria explained.
"Um well you see it all started when I went to the pillager town while you were still gone. While I was looking around I came across a mirror that led to another reality. Unfortunately I happened to touch the mirror at the same time as that Lyria..." she said pointing to Fractureverse Lyria. "...and she ended up knocking me unconscious and pulling me through to the other reality where everything is the completely the opposite to how it is here. When I woke up I had no idea what happened and I went back to Dreadfort only to find that everyone was acting weird. Long story short it was only after I was later captured by that reality's Nether did I discover that I was no longer in the same reality. Luckily they helped me get back to this one so I could find my counterpart and send her back." Lyria finished.
Azura was beginning to make sense of the situation but she was still confused about a couple of things. "When did you get back? Was it when we were trying to arrest you or earlier and more importantly how did you get hold of a nether star?" Azura asked. "Oh um well yes the first place anyone saw me when I returned would have been then. As for the nether star, well um the other Lady Kaia from the other reality gave it to me before she died." Lyria replied, a little saddened. Azura did not know how to respond to this and instead remained silent. "You followed me after I fled Dreadfort didn't you?" Lyria said, breaking the silence. "Yes I did and it's a good thing I did wasn't it?" Azura chuckled. "Yeah it was but I knew that someone was watching me when I was sitting on that tree stump." Lyria laughed.
"Well um I remember you saying that we have to get this Lyria to some mirror in the pillager town." Azura said after they both stopped laughing. "Yes, that's right. I snuck in and out of there easily, oh but how are we going to sneak her in?" Lyria exclaimed realising that Fractureverse Lyria was not going to go back to her reality quietly. "I can carry her there no problem but we're going to need a distraction since we can't speak past the pillagers." Replied Azura. "Ha looks like you're going to be the distraction!" Fractureverse Lyria jeered. "Fine I'll do it as long as you're going back!" Lyria snapped back. "Hey you don't have to send me back you know." Fractureverse Lyria said, trying to plead her way out of this.
"I know you weren't going to stop at being merely a major for the Nether were you? No you were only waiting patiently for the right time to take over this place, then the whole reality and finally once you conquered all that you would've gone back to your reality for revenge." Lyria exclaimed as she did not believe Fractureverse Lyria for one second. "And it would've worked to if you hadn't shown up just yet!" Sulked Fractureverse Lyria. "Lyria are you sure you want to distract the pillagers?" Azura asked now having got a chance to interrupt the two Lyrias. "Yes. I'll then meet you inside the room which is the last two windows on the right of the top floor of the mansion." Lyria answered determinedly . "Ok then that's decided then. As much as I like to plan things through properly first, I think it's best we get out of here and figure out how exactly you're going to distract the pillagers on the way. I don't really want to hang around here much longer for the Nether to realise that we wrecked this bridge." Azura said and lifted Fractureverse Lyria into the air.
It was quite a struggle at first for Lyria to be able to keep up with Azura by using her basic areomancy skills, however their so progress gave Lyria and Azura time to properly fill each other in and after a while Lyria was almost able to get the hang of it. "You're terrible at this!" Spat Fractureverse Lyria as Lyria almost collided with her and Azura. "Oh well I'm sorry but if you hadn't torn my elytra then I wouldn't have to learn as I go." Lyria replied sarcastically. "And if you hadn't started this mess in the first place then you wouldn't be here right now." Azura added.
"Yeah well it's not like either of you have come up with a distraction yet so it looks like I'll be hanging around here for a bit longer." Fractureverse Lyria scoffed. Lyria was angered by that remark so much that she wanted to throw something at her. She felt her hand subconsciously reach for her firework rockets. It then gave Lyria an idea. "Actually I do have one now thanks to you." Lyria announced. "You do? What do you have in mind?" Azura asked her intrigued to know what Lyria had planned. "Um well you'll see." Lyria said knowing that if she told her mentor what she was planning, then she would likely disapprove of it since it would be very dangerous if Lyria was not careful.
Upon nearing the pillager town, Lyria left Fractureverse Lyria and Lady Azura on the outskirts out of sight, while she went off to cause the distraction. As soon as the distraction would take effect, Azura would sneak herself and Fractureverse Lyria into the mansion as Lyria had instructed. Lyria landed behind a chimney on one of the rooftops since she did not want Azura to see what she was about to do next. She carefully took her firework rockets off her belt and laid them down in front of her. The way of which the rockets had been constructed for elytra users as a tool to help boost their flight, meant that they would not harm the user. Thus they did not explode the same way a normal firework did which is exactly what Lyria wanted for the distraction. She very cautiously began to deconstruct and then reconstruct the firework rockets so that they would go off with a very noticeable bang.
Azura was waiting patiently for the distraction that Lyria was planning to start. Although she had no clue as to what Lyria was up to, she suspected that because Lyria had not told her, that it was likely going to be very risky and potentially dangerous. This worried her. Then she heard a loud bang followed by another loud bang. Azura looked over at the part of town where it sounded like the bang had come from. She saw a large amount of smoke rising up from above the rooftops. Another couple of bangs went off followed by screaming and shouting from the confused pillagers as they flocked towards the huge clouds of smoke. It seemed like they thought that they were under attack but they could not tell where the enemy was coming from.
Azura resisted the strong urge to check on Lyria as she knew that leaving Fractureverse Lyria unattended would be even more consequential. Instead she chose to run with her part of the plan. Lyria had cleared the streets by luring everyone towards her which allowed Azura to fly undetected with Fractureverse Lyria into the mansion. It had been quite a fight to get Fractureverse Lyria through the window because Fractureverse Lyria was determined to do everything that would prevent herself from going back. Finally they were both in the room and since it had taken them so long Lyria flew in before either of them had a chance to properly observe the room.
As much as Azura wanted to inquire about what exactly Lyria had done, she kept to the more important matter at hand. "Is that it?" She asked as she pointed to the mirror in the corner of the room. "Yep that's it." Lyria panted now tied, having been flying around setting off fireworks, essentially as smoke bombs to confuse the pillagers. Now that Lyria had confirmed it, Azura began pushing Fractureverse Lyria towards the mirror. Lyria then had to help her since Fractureverse Lyria had dug the heels of her boots into the carpet. Together they managed to get Fractureverse Lyria close to the mirror and with one final push they ended up shoving her so hard that she tumbled straight through the mirror.
The pair looked up at once. To their surprise they saw that Fractureverse Lyria's return had been expected since Fractureverse Klaus, Fractureverse Kaia, a few nether guards who were already sorting Fractureverse Lyria out and even Fractureverse Naeus was present. Lyria was overjoyed seeing them as it signified that back up had arrived in time to secure the Fractureverse pillager town. Fractureverse Naeus nodded his approval as did Fractureverse Klaus before they both followed out of the room after their newly acquired prisoner.
Lyria was so happy to see that Fractureverse Kaia was alright. She somehow managed to summon up the nether star to give back to Fractureverse Kaia but before she could do so Fractureverse Kaia held up her hand and shook her head before revealing another nether star. Lyria smiled and mouthed a thank you as did Lady Azura who was extremely grateful to Fractureverse Kaia for looking after her apprentice so well. Fractureverse Kaia smiled back and waved to them and they waved back as Fractureverse Kaia left the room with the rest of the party.
