Chapter 14

Next day Lisa and Jennie ate breakfast together. Before going to the company, Lisa drop Jennie at the corner near at her company. Since their relationship was not public yet, they still need to act carefully and not get caught. Arriving at the company, she sensed something weird. As she walk towards the elevator, her phone rang.

"Jennie, where are you? I need to know if you made up your mind bout the contract for The Classic?" Bae asked

"I'm here at the company. Yes. I will sign it. Where are you?"

"Okay, good. I'm at the lobby, let's meet there"

....

While heading to the lobby, someone grabbed Jennie by the shoulder and she turned around to see the woman she bumped into last time.

Jennie raised one of her brows and Joie glared at her and said "What are you doing here? After what you did at the event you still have the guts to come here?"

Jennie smiled and said "Oh sorry, but I don't know you, Miss"

That made Joie fume in rage. 'So, she is still acting as if she doesn't know anything' she thought and said "Liar! You know it was me, right? The one who made you wear the revealing outfit! Don't pretend that you don't know me you b*tch!" Joie yelled. Luckily no one in the hallway.

"I think you've mistaken me for someone else" after saying that, Jennie turned around and walk

"Don't act like an innocent flower. We both know that you're a whore who  cheated on Brother Kai!" Joie accidentally revealed and it made Jennie stop on her tracks and turn around to see Joie widen her eyes in shock because she accidentally spout. But then, she smile widely and continue to walk.

Joie doesn't know what was that. It's weird. Unaware that Jennie already know about the fact that she and Kai knows each other. She expected this to happen. Joie who left behind, call Kai and she tell him what happened. Kai on the other hand was irritated because he thought when Joie calls, he would know where Jennie is staying.

....

"Jennie, so here is the contract. You can sign it here" As soon as Jennie sat across Suzy, she handed the contract right away for Jennie to sign

"We can fly tomorrow morning or later midnight, what do you think?" She asked Jennie

"What time tomorrow? I still need to pack my things"

"We're gonna head to the airport at 2 am and the flight is at 5 am"

Jennie and Suzy talk about the flight and afterwards, she headed home to pack her things.

After packing her luggage, Jennie went to the living room and read some books while waiting for Lisa. After reading for about an hour, she went to their bedroom and prepare Lisa's clothes and placed it on the bed. Then she walked towards the kitchen and decided to cook for dinner. She miss cooking because her husband prohibited her to step in the kitchen. But today, she feel like cooking for the both of them since she will be gone for almost a week.

Afte arranging the food on the table, she went to the huge glass window. She doesn't know how long she stayed there but suddenly, she felt someone was hugging her from behind. And she hear him say "What are you thinking?" It's obviously her husband whom she doesn't know had arrived.

"My flight is tomorrow. I'll leave 2 in the morning" then she turn around to face him

She look at him and smiled "Let's eat before you shower"

The two walk hand in hand towards the dining. They eat in silence with a sense of warmth.

When clock strikes at 1:30 am, Jennie was already prepared to leave and did not bother waking Lisa up. As she reach the doorknob she hear Lisa say "Are you leaving without waking me up?"

Jennie turn around and walk towards Lisa and hugged him tightly. She's holding her emotions, so that he wouldn't see her cry infront of him like a child.

"I already miss you" Jennie said in a lowered voice

Lisa hugged her tightly and patted her head "Do what you have to do and after.... come home to me. I'll wait for you"

Jennie nodded, feeling her heart pounding loudly in her chest and kiss Lisa. "I'll do well"

The flight took 9 hours before it finally arrived in Russia. Jennie and Suzy went to the Hotel to rest. Their schedule is next day at 9 am.

"Jennie, I'll put your clothes here so you can change right away after taking a shower. I'll go to the kitchen to prepare something before we rest"

"Thank you" then she watched as Suzy  disappeared from her bedroom

She texted Lisa that they safely arrived in Russia and was about to take a rest. After a couple of seconds her phone rang. It was Lisa.

"Hubby"

"Wife, I miss you. Don't tell me you miss me too, I might come over there and be with you" Lisa said and sigh

"I miss you more! I wish you were here" she teased but it's the truth

"Hmm you eat first before going to bed. Don't skip a meal" he reminded her

"Suzy is already preparing our dinner, actually"

The lovebirds continue to chat until Lisa gave her some reminders before saying goodbye to each other.

....

Next day, Jennie and Suzy came to the studio earlier than the expected time.

The assistant hand them the clothes she will be wearing for the shoot. When the time strikes at 8:00 they decided to get prepared and at exactly 9 am, they started the shoot.

"Okay now I want you to do fierce" the photographer said

Jennie made a sudden fierce look and the photographer and the whole team, look at her in amusement.

"Now, look innocent and turn your head to your left"

Jennie did it immediately. The whole team look at her with their mouths open. They did not encounter someone as good as Jennie. They plan to ask her to sign to a new contract.

After the shoot they packed up. Jennie and her manager were ready to leave and headed to the exit.

"Miss Kim, may I have a word?" The staff asked her politely. That made the both of them stop on their tracks and turn around.

They walk back inside the studio

"Miss Kim, I'm sorry if I stopped you from leaving. But just now, I received a call from The Classic director and he told me to ask you if you want to sign another contract with us?" The staff didn't beat around the bush. In the middle of the shoot, this staff informed the director about it and how good Jennie was. She even took a photo and send it to the director.

Jennie felt shocked but remained calm "When is the next shoot?"

"I believe it's next week"

Jennie think for about a minute before she said "Can you give me your contact information? I'll give you an answer within this week"

The staff agreed and gave Jennie the contact information. After then, she and Suzy left the studio and went back to the hotel.
