Weekend is over, it's time for her to get back to her reality. She enjoyed spending time with Menzi; she wishes to do it again. Now she has to go back to that depressing house, and argue with Ronnie all day.
She arrives dragging her mini suitcase, and is surprised by how clean it is. She snoops around the kitchen, and there is food on the pots. Ronnie cooked? That's specifically strange.

She moved on to the lounge and it was also squeaky clean, she went to their bedroom, and found him sleeping. She looks at him in pride. Maybe the weekend away knocked some sense into him.

She quietly unpacks her clothes and goes to check on the girls, they were also sleeping in their rooms.

Sthoko:Mhhh, this is a first!

She says to herself, and throws herself on the couch. She dozes out , and is woken up by Ronnie.

Sthoko:Oh hey! I found you sleeping and didn't want to disturb you.

Ronnie:I was tired. The girls exhausted me all weekend. I've never seen such hyper kids.

She wants to laugh, and tell him that it's what she faces everyday, but decides against it.

Sthoko:I hope they didn't give you too much trouble.

Ronnie:No,I managed. How was the weekend at your mother's?

Sthoko:It was good, I enjoyed spending time with her.

She avoided his eyes by all means possible.

She is cooking porridge, she woke up craving it. Her mother finds her in the kitchen and takes over from her.

MaMkhize:You shouldn't stand for this long. Sit down.

She sits down. Her mother spoils her. She wishes she can tell her to stop one day, but this is her mother.

Nothando:Thank you ma.

MaMkhize:Anything for you princess.

She finishes the porridge and dishes in a big bowl for her. She finishes it within a few minutes.

MaMkhize:Someone was really hungry.

Nothando:*Laughing* You can say that again. Where is dad?

MaMkhize:Oh, he said he is meeting with someone.

Nothando:I wonder who it is.

MaMkhize:You know your father is full of surprises. Go and bathe, I will clean up here.

Nothando:No, I will wash this bowl first.

MaMkhize:Nonsense, I will wash it myself.

She sighs and heads out of the kitchen. She gets inside her room and finds a missed call from her friend, Lungile. She calls her back.

Lungile:Thando, why didn't you answer?

Nothando:Sorry, I was in the kitchen. What's up?

Lungile:Friend, I  saw your baby daddy.

Nothando:My baby daddy?

Lungile:Yes.

She was with Lungi at the time of the one night stand, so she knows Samkelo.

Nothando:Lungi, where did you see him?

Lungile:Yesterday, at some bar. It's him Thando! He hasn't changed a bit.

Nothando:Did you manage to get his address? He needs to take accountability for his baby.

Lungile:No, but I will ask around. We will find him my friend, I promise you.
