RONNIE

He is still in shock at the revelation that his wife is cheating on him. He never thought Mabhiza's assumptions would come to pass. How could Sthoko do that to him? That guy seemed sure of what he was saying, and the arrogance in him couldn't be missed. He looked like he was waiting for an opportunity like that for a long time. At this point, he doesn't know what to feel. He doesn't know how he will move past this. Cheating is the worst thing your partner can do to you; they have been married for so long, and they were happy. What changed?

He is feeling a bit better after fainting, and he goes to Sthoko's ward. She was still not awake. He decided to go back home, to check on the girls.

She can't comprehend what her father's plans are, he can't just bring Sakhile to live with them without any ulterior motives. Things between her and Sakhile ended badly, and they left some issues unresolved. Sakhile is a good guy, he's kind, never raises his voice. She feels like she doesn't deserve him, that he's too good for her. He was her first love and forgetting about him won't be just too easy. But she's pregnant now, she must put her feelings aside and focus on the baby she's carrying. She doesn't think Sakhile would even get back together with her. She hurt him so much, and the fact that she acts like nothing happens must hurt him more. She can't wait for him to get his own place, so things wont be this awkward.

She comes across her mother, and she greets her.

MaMkhize:Sit down, breakfast is almost ready.

She wanted to wake up early, and prepare breakfast; but she slept in. She wants her father to see that she is trying.

Nothando:Thank you ma, I was going to prepare it, but I woke up late.

MaMkhize:Nonsense, I love cooking, you know me.

No lie in that, MaMkhize should have been a chef. But she chose being a housewife over everything. She cannot imagine having to depend on a man for the rest of her life. She wants her own things, her own money, assets, house, job.

Her father and Sakhile join them in the dining table, and she looks down; wishing to go and eat in her room. But that is not allowed.

Ndlovu:Sakhile, how did you sleep?

Sakhile:I slept well, baba. Thank you once again for accommodating me. I will be out of your hair as soon as I find my own place.

Ndlovu:No rush, I promised your father I would take care of you. I'm certain you will find a job, you are smart.

The look of pride in his eyes can't be missed. He's like the son he never had. Her dad never spoke like this to her, he is always shouting and ordering her.

Sakhile:Nothando, are you okay?

He asks, as he notices a tear dropping from her eyes.

Nothando:I'm okay, can I be excused?

She rushes out of the room to her bedroom. She throws herself in bed and cries her pain silently.

Luckily, he arrived in time to get the girls ready for school. Now, he's just tiding up the house. He is stressed, worried and heartbroken. He wants Sthoko to wake up, so she can explain this mess! A part of him is hoping that she will squash the allegations. But that guy seemed so sure in what he was saying. He feels like his heart is moving from his ribcage, that's how hurt he is. The thought that someone was kissing his wife, touching her, sleeping with her makes him want to bang his head against the wall repeatedly.
