He has been clinging on to me like crazy ever since we fixed things. I think this is the right time to tell him about my fears of the future. He comes back from the kitchen holding a tray with breakfast.

Ronnie: I made you something to eat.

I accept the plate, and start eating.

Me:Babe, we need to talk about something.
Ronnie:Everything okay?
Me:I don't know, but I need to tell you about my past. I'm sure you've noticed that I always tense up whenever you bring up the children's topic.
Ronnie:Yes, did something happen in the past?

I sighed, and put the plate away.

Me:Five years ago, I was dating this guy, Melusi, he was the sweetest man I ever dated. I thought he was the one, because he even proposed to me and sent his people to my home. He wanted to make me his wife. I was happy because I thought he really loved me. But turns out, he was cheating on me, with his work colleague. I caught them in the act, and that's when I started bleeding. He hurried me to the hospital, and the doctors told me that I lost my baby. I was broken, and shattered; mainly because I didn't even know I was pregnant. We broke up with the guy, and since then I have been afraid to fall pregnant because I'm scared I might miscarry again.

I wiped my tears as I realized how much this will always leave a wound inside my heart. I don't think I will ever completely heal. He doesn't say anything, he just pulls me to his chest and I let it all out.

I hope Samkelo has stopped the nonsense he was trying to do with his family, they have no rights over my son. He is resting in peace, and he doesn't need people disturbing him and digging his grave.
Anyway, enough about Samkelo, me and Bae are out today for a special outing. He said he has something to tell me, I wonder what it is. We just did a little bit of shopping, and now we were eating.

Me: You said you wanted us to talk about something.

Sakhile: Yes, but I don’t know how you will receive it.

I hope it’s nothing that will break my heart.

Sakhile: Notha, you know I love you, right? I would do anything for you, and I want to see you happy at all times.

Okay he was starting to scare me a bit.

Me: Is everything okay?

Sakhile: My boss called me for a meeting yesterday, and he told me that they are opening a new branch in another town.

Me: Which town?
Sakhile: Richards Bay.

Me: Okay, so what does that have to do with you?

Sakhile: He is moving me there, to oversee the company and be the head of engineering.

Me: Wow babe, that’s amazing! That means he really trusts in your working capacity.

I was really happy for him, he deserves this.

Sakhile: So you are not mad?

Me: Why would I be mad?

Sakhile: I am moving to another place, and the difference will be an hour plus, we won’t see each other too often.

I kept quiet and thought about it, he was right. But I can't be selfish, this is a really good opportunity for him.

Me: We will make it work, babe. We will call each other everyday, and text often.

Sakhile: Please come with me..

Me: Huh??

Sakhile: We will start our lives there, please come. I will send my people to yours and pay lobolo.
