Brian/Hyde's P.O.V

"Hey -hey - here! Hyde is trying to push his way to the front and I'm home alone and don't know what to do" I stuttered as I felt Hyde make his way to the front.

"Okay, just come over" Candy took a deep breath out on the other end of the line I could almost feel her nervousness.

"Alright I'll be right there," I said before hanging up the phone and walking out the door.

As I walked down the street I felt a sharp pain in my stomach It felt like I was being stabbed. Once I got to the hostel where Candy and the girls were staying I knocked on the door and waited a few seconds until Melody opened the door.

"My god Brian come in you look terrible" She grabbed my hand and pulled me inside.

"Thank you" I grimaced in agony.

"No worries, let's go have you lay down".

And so with that Melody walked over to one of the empty beds and laid me down.

"Alright, I'm going to go grab Candy and I'll be right back."

So with that, she left the room to go get Candy.  A few minutes later Melody arrived back with Candy.

"Okay Brian, I'm going to have you try an exercise for me just listen to my voice. I want you to focus on yourself and push Hyde back as hard as you can and just close your eyes and breathe, imagine him as a wall that is closing in on you, you push against it before it can crush you" Candy sat down on the edge of the bed.

" What is the purpose of that?".

"You'll see".

"Okay then you're my therapist, so I trust you".

And at that moment I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Good now breathe in, feel your chest rise and hold for four and exhale for four, and continue to do so until you don't feel Hyde pushing against you".

So I did just that and ended up in a dream-like state.

" You think you can stop me?" Hyde chuckled as I tried to push him back.

" I want my life back I want you to leave me alone".

" You don't get it do you? I'm your dark side I'm your anger, your anxiety, your depression, etc. I'm not going away in fact, I'm staying and you'll have to deal with it".

"No, no, no, no! You can't be I don't believe you!" I spat as I continued to attempt to push Hyde back as I suddenly felt a burst of energy coursing through my veins.

So with that, I pushed him back quite a ways when he suddenly turned on me and began unleashing his wrath.

" I will control your life from here on out. Do you understand me?".

I nodded as he began beating me to a pulp.

" Brian, can you hear me? Wake up, this isn't good" Candy's voice echo in my ears.

" This isn't over I'll be back to finish you off".

At that moment I opened my eyes to find Candy and the girls staring down at me.

" I need some air" I quickly got out of bed and stumbled out onto the balcony to find Roger and John sitting side-by-side in the patio chairs.

" Hey, you okay mate?" Roger looked at me with concern.

"No, no I'm not".
