Tara's P.O.V
I was on my way to see Chad and Mercury to celebrate her first birthday, once I got up to the door I opened it and entered the flat when I saw Mercury running up to me and said.
"Mama!".
I bent down and watched. "Hi, sweet girl!"
Mercury held out her hands aiming for a hug so I picked her up and hugged her before entering the living room to find Chad sitting on the sofa.
"You came" He smiled softly.
" I wouldn't miss our daughter's first birthday for the world".
"Thank you for coming".
"Again, I wouldn't miss it".
And so what is that we got on with the festivities, but after a few hours I took Mercury upstairs and put her in her crib for a nap when Chad entered the room.
"She misses you".
" I know".
