When Superman heard the commotion (because of course he did, he literally hears everything at all times) he already knew that his-the clone was involved. That boy always seemed to be at the center of trouble. Clark had been told about the botched mission along with the rest of the league members who hadn't been present, and he found himself especially frustrated by the actions of the clone boy. Who rushes headfirst into danger like that?! He might be impervious (though, lately Clark has found himself questioning if the boy even inherited-was created without that ability as well) but that didn't change the fact that he could have still been defeated. He doesn't have even remotely close to the years of experience with his powers that Clark has! Superman shook his head. He was lucky that Batman had shown up, all of the sidekick kids were. While they might not be close friends, as Batman has gone to great lengths to purposely distance himself from everyone, there was no denying his skills as a hero. Yes, everyone was very lucky that night.

"Unhand me this instance!"Robin struggled against Superman's grip like a caged animal. However, he refused to let go of the boy's hood and kept him suspended slightly above the ground. In his other hand, he held the sword that he had walked in on the boy chasing everyone around with. The other kids were currently camped out off to the side, eyeing the youngest with a weariness that almost made it seem as though they didn't trust Superman to be able to keep Robin in check for very long. Conner didn't exactly know what to think on the matter. He suddenly dropped his gaze back down to the floor when he thought he saw Superman looking his way.
"Again, I'm very sorry for Robin's actions," Red Robin apologized. "I'd like to say he's not normally like this, however, I would like to start our working relationship on a more trustworthy basis than that blatant lie would promote."
Do you always talk like a tiny businessman? Conner wanted to ask, but he didn't. That would probably be rude.
"In that spirit, how about we all properly acquaint ourselves? My name is Red Robin, the third protégé to the Batman."
Red Robin held out a black gloved hand. Seriously, how old was this kid supposed to be? Conner didn't know much about being a teenager, but he had learned enough about typical social skills to realize that this kid was acting way too formal for anyone his age...which he was still unsure about. He tried to do the mental math. He was already now past his original age of four months when he was first found, while physically looking sixteen years old. Plus, he's a lot taller than Red Robin, which has to count for something. So, Red Robin had to be somewhere between four months old and sixteen years old. That seemed about right.
"It's nice to meet you," M'gann smiled without taking his hand.
A small look of embarrassment seemed to cross Red Robin's face as he slowly began to lower it, only for Wally to quickly grab it before he could.
"It's good to see you again," Wally told him while giving his hand a good shake. Suddenly, he sped out of the room, only to return seconds later with something in hand. "This is yours. I forgot to give it to Nightwing when he and Robin were here. There was sort of a lot going on, Robin threatened to kill me with a broken popsicle stick...you kinda had to be there. Anyway, here you go!"
Conner looked over at the object. He hadn't realized that Wally had kept the knife thing that he used to cut him free from the grappling line. Though, now that he could get a better view, Conner could clearly tell that it was shaped like a bat. He felt like he was having his own "Hello, Megan!" moment. Red Robin grinned as he placed it on his belt.
"Thank you for returning this. We have a rule about leaving behind evidence, so I'm definitely grateful that you kept it safe."
"Evidence?"
