Project Shadow : The True Me

Chapter six: The Dark Zone.

"What is this place?" Silver asked as we descended into the nothing yet again..

"...im not sure...but i aim to eliminate every android down here.." I said sternly back;

" how many of them are there..? Its not like you to ask for help.." Silver said;

" i didnt ask for your "help" sparkles...meerly assistance to ease the burden i faced.." I said back;

" *light chuckle* whatever you say, its still help no matter how you word it, and im happy to oblige. This will be great bonding time and we can be best friends!" Silver said with excitement;

As we pressed further downward and reached the hallway, the smell of burning and smoldering metal filled the air. There was still light at the end of the tunnel from when the androids activated the power, and each other.

"You never did say what was down here...or why you needed my "assistance" Silver said quietly;

" Better if i show you..rather than say..."
I said quietly back;

" what is this smell...? ...and what is that up ahead?" silver asked whil pointing to the end of the hallway ;

" ...what i wanted to show you...now can it" i said sternly back, and he gave me a quick glare before looking forward.

As we slowly approached the entrence to the main room, parts of android littered
The walkway and so did the stench of oil and electricity.

"What is this...?" Silver asked with a slight hint of uncertainty to his voice;

" ...what i wanted you to see....its an android army...of...us.." i said back with the same tone;

" ive never even seen a silver android....who made them....and why are there so many..?" Silver asked while picking up a piece of a silver androids hand;

" ..i dont know....and its the first time ive seen a silver android myself....they have..all..of our abillities...from what i can tell..." i said back while walking over parts;

" ...but ...it looks like they are all destroyed ....is this the explosion i heard earlier..?" Silver asked as he threw down the androids hand;

"...i dont know how many there are...but yes...this is what you heard earlier....now be quiet...and keep your ears perked....they may still be down here.." I said quietly and firmly;

As we continued forward, the room was now filled with broken glass and pieces of android everywhere. I was not certain how big this underground factory was....nor did i want to remain in it for much longer. We passed the small makeshift assembly line and and soon, on both sides of us, the walls were littered with specimen containers...just one after another and they all..were empty...most had the glass broken..others...were just vacant. Further and further we went into this place until we came across two doors. A door on the right was sealed and looked to be made of a heavy metal with steel I beams forming a cross on it for extra strength. Above the door, buried beneath rust and lush foliage, read the words, "East housing chamber" ,
The door to the left was made of the same material and yet, above the door, the words couldn't be read. Instead, across the main body of the door, was caution tape and what looked to be written in a red paint all across it which read, "Caution" and, "Dark Zone".

"Dark zone?....what does that mean..?" Silver asked innocently;

" .....im not sure....but i dont like it.."
I said back firmly;

"...... Hmmm.....i say we go through this door" i said as i pointed towards the door labeled, "Dark Zone".

" ...there isnt anything left in here....why should we go further..? ..it looks as if youve destroyed them all...what more do you want..?" Silver said back;
