Tiana and I have gotten closer to one another these past few weeks and I'm truly shocked. After meeting her for the first time at my dance auditions, I would of never thought I'd ever see her again, let alone have some type of feelings towards her. I'm glad I took the time to get to know her because she's actually a good person under all that sass and attitude.

Tiana is just a bit misunderstood and needed clear guidance. I know she should be old enough to understand life more clearly but obviously she's had some things she needed to let go in order for the real her to finally come out. Tiana explained to me the type of relationship she has with her parents and how life was growing up with them. She was very adamant on never speaking to them again but I convinced her to have an adult conversation with them and maybe come to an understanding.

The more Tiana and I hung out together, the more I started to feel a way about her. She has this charm to her that just gets me going any time I'm in her presence. I know we're supposed to be taking things slow but I want to make her mine now, even though it was my idea in the first place.

"How do I look?" Tiana asked as she twirled around so I could see a full 360 of her outfit. She wore a beautifully fitted black gown with a white sheer hanging off her shoulders. Her hair was pinned up and I couldn't help but to admire her beauty. "Well?" She spoke again.

"You look lovely." I told her. She smiled big then planted a kiss in my cheek.

"Do you think everything will turn out alright?" She asks as she hooks her arm onto mine and we walked towards the front door of her apartment. "Yeah, I really do."

Boy was I wrong. The moment everyone sat down and placed their orders, Tiana immediately went in for the kill.

"What did I ever do for you to treat me like trash my entire childhood?" Tiana would ask. Her mother scoffed.

"Is this what we were called here for?" Her mother asked.

"Just answer the question!" Tiana said. I could clearly see where her attitude came from.

"Tiana, you walk around like the world owes you something but it doesn't. Your father and I raised both you and your sister the best way we can with what we had. If you can't appreciate that then oh well." Her mother says and the look on Tiana's face was scary. I've never seen her more shock, angry, and disappointed before.

"That's not the case mom! Or should I even call you that? The problem is that the only reason you and dad are even wanting to talk to me is because you need something from me." Tiana says. "If you were still well off and your business was running perfectly like it used to, I wouldn't have ever heard from you."

"Tiana—"

"I'm not finished dad. You are just as worse as mom, maybe even more for allowing her to put Tiara and I against each other. Constantly in competition with one another for what? The both of you chose Tiara every time! What did I ever do to deserve that?" I grabbed Tiana's hand and held it to try and calm her down, which worked. She sighed and sat back in her chair. She squeezed my hand, trying to calm herself.

"You're so ungrateful Tiana. We gave you and your sister the best of the best but that just wasn't enough for you." Her mother said. Tiana laughed to herself then stood up from the table.

"Obviously this stupid dinner isn't going anywhere. Don't you ever call my phone again." Was all Tiana said before storming away. I stood up as well and placed some money down on the table.

"The two of you should be ashamed of yourselves." I finally spoke.

"And who are you to tell us that? Just because you're some big pop star don't mean you can talk to us any kind of way." Her mother said as she stood up from the table as well. Her husband grabbed her before anything else could happen.
