Tiana

I woke up early Monday morning to be bombarded with Phoebe, Bethany, and Gabby forcing me out of bed and into dress fittings for this week's show. Me and plenty of other models were running around trying on clothes and having them fitted for later this week. I wasn't all that nervous but I could tell some of the girls were.

"This is finally happening!" I heard one say to another.

"I know right, we made it." The other said back. I rolled my eyes while I held my arms out as someone measured me. I remember how it felt to be new and finally landing a runway. I felt like I was on top of the world until I realized people still didn't know my name. I worked harder and finally people stop me for autographs! I'm dating the biggest pop star in the world!

"Is that?" I heard someone say. suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned to see a girl standing there with a grin on her face.

"Tiana?" The girl asked.

"Can I help you?" I asked and she squealed.

"Oh my god! I am walking the runway with the Tiana Rowland. How freaking awesome is that." The girl exclaims.

"It's nice to meet one of my many fans, what's your name?" I asked. The girl told me her name but I couldn't help but overhear another conversation.

"I don't know how Michael Jackson is dating her she's so rude and stuck up. Who wants to be with someone like that?" I heard. I told the guy that was helping me to give me a minute and I stomped towards the girls I heard say that.

"Excuse me?" I said.

"Yes princess? How may I help you?" One of the girls replied.

"If you're going to talk shit, at least say it to me." I said as I placed a hand on my hip.

"Oh please." The girl said and raised her hand to my face. Before I could react, I felt someone pulling me away. I turned around to see another girl dragging me into a different room.

"Don't worry about them, they're just mad because they can't be you." The girl says. "My names Jacey by the way."

"Nice to meet you Jacey, and thank you for getting me out of there. No telling what I would have done." I said as I flipped my hair.

"Oh trust me, I understand. I grew up with Hazel and she's a true bitch. I can't believe we're walking the same runway." She scoffed.

Jacey and I spent a good minute in the back talking and I actually liked this girl. I could take her under my wing, seeing as though she's new to the game. I figured there were a lot of girls here that was new to the model world. Jacey clearly has enough enemies here as is. She told me the type of person Hazel was in school and it kind of reminds me of the person I turned out to be when I grew up and finally started doing everything on my own.

Eventually, the two of us had to go back to the front where everyone was being fitted. Once everything was finished, it was past lunch time and I decided to take Jacey out to eat with Gabby and I. Gabby was a little confused about Jacey joining us but I told her we'd talk later about that. Jacey was very talkative and outspoken and I liked that about her. I knew she'd speak up about anything.

"Oh my God." Gabby gasped. I gave her a confused look and she pointed at a tv that was up on display at a store we were walking by. There, Michael's picture was up there but he was kissing another woman on the cheek who smiled from ear to ear.

"Who the hell is that." I asked and Gabby shrugged.

"I'm not even hungry anymore." I said then stormed off. I was raging. Why do I feel like this? It's not like I was in love with the guy. This relationship is fake anyway, why am I mad at him for kissing on someone else? Michael can do whatever he wants and I'll do the same.
