Michael

"Slow down!" Taylor yelled behind me as I sped walked out of the restaurant. As soon as I reached my vehicle, cameras started flashing. Taylor fought them off as much as he could then got inside the car and drove off. I was fuming the whole ride back to the hotel. I couldn't believe that this is how Tiana Rowland really is. Maybe I should of just called instead of wasting a night out like this.

"I told you not to do this." Taylor said while looking at me through the rear view mirror.

"I do not wanna hear none of your 'I told you so's'." I said as I folded my arms against my chest. "I just wanna get in the shower and drink a bottle of wine to myself."

"I mean, you did pay for a bottle back there, should of kept it." Taylor shrugged and I glared at his stupid joke. "Don't sweat it kid, you'll meet some good people then you'll meet some bad people in your life."

"It just blew my mind Taylor. I didn't expect it to go so left. We didn't even eat yet." I said, the scene playing over and over in my mind. It was very distasteful on both parts, whether I was right or wrong.

"I know what'll make you feel better." He said, making me become curious. I looked out the window and noticed we were heading into a burger joint. I smiled happily.

"You sure know how to cheer someone up." I said as he drove around to the drive through. "I want a double cheese burger, large fries, and a strawberry milkshake."

"Whatever you want kid."

"No way! No way that happened Michael!" Denis practically yelled on the other end of the phone.

"It did happen! I don't think I'd ever consider working with someone like her. I almost had a thought to have her in another one of my short films but my mind is completely made up. I wouldn't associate my name with a character like her." I said.

"What caused such a fuss? Surely it could be resolved." He said.

"She already seemed tensed about me being a little late. I guess me wanting to help her put her completely on edge. I understand being afraid to ask for help but sheesh! That woman is her own enemy." I said. The way Denis and I were talking, it felt like we were gossiping.

"Give it another shot Michael, just one more will ya? If it fails this time then we could leave the thought alone." Denis pleaded and I shook my head.

"I can't work with someone who isn't humble. She doesn't even appreciate the good things she has in her life. The opportunities I've heard about her passing on is crazy!"

"You're her next opportunity! All you have to do is talk some sense into her! She's just young and misguided that's all." He says and I roll my eyes. I can't believe I'm considering giving her another shot.

"What's on today's agenda Denis? Am I free again?" I asked.

"Don't try and change the subject, but you're free for the rest of the week. You'll  have a photo shoot to do and a meeting with your producer next week." He informs me. "We should start talking about this black and white party we been planning since the album finished!"

"I'm in no party mood Denis. And alright if that's it, I'll give Ms. Rowland a call instead. Not wasting another penny at a restaurant I didn't get to enjoy." I said.

"Ah you'll get into the mood when I should you the venue. Area fifty-one?" He chuckles.

"Very funny. Next topic."

"Oh! Your ex lover left a voicemail for me today, says it's very urgent."

"Mhm, tell me another joke."
