Tiana

"What's on the schedule today Gabby?" I asked as I picked up an apple and bit into it.

"Today—" she started but gasped as she dropped all her papers. She tried to scramble and picked them up but I stopped her once I seen a paper that caught my eye. I snatched it from her hands and began to read it.

DANCE AUDITIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN MICHAEL JACKSON'S NEW SHORT FILM!

Auditions will be held at the Civic Center in two weeks! You will have to perform a one minute long dance to any song of your choice.

Must be at least 21 years old to audition!

You will be asked to fill out a contact information sheet so we can contact you for your results.

Dress accordingly: no flip flops, sandals, crop tops, short shorts, or tight clothing whatsoever! Must come in tennis shoes!

We prefer if everyone wears tights or sweats with a t-shirt and tennis shoes.

Refreshments will be provided.

Those who makes the cut will be given a phone call some time at the end of the week.

Good luck to all!

"Michael freaking Jackson is holding dance auditions and you didn't tell me!" I said with my eyes wide.

"Yes but—"

"Why didn't you tell me Gabby? This could be amazing for my career! I'd get even more publicity and more collaboration opportunities!"

"But Tiana—"

"Oh God! I have to figure out what I'd wear, or what song I'll dance to!"

"Tiana! You can't fucking dance alright!" Gabby yelled over me, causing me to give her a bewildered look.

"Excuse me?" I yelled back.

"You can't dance Tiana..." she trailed off.

"I can dance! And why would you have that flyer if you planned to keep it away from me huh? Were you going to audition?" I said.

"N-No! I had it for my niece. She's a huge Michael Jackson fan and she's also in school for dancing. This could be a really great opportunity for her." She explains.

"But not for me?"

"Tiana—"

"I will be auditioning whether you think I should or not."

* * *

I was pretty upset with Gabby for keeping information like that away from me. She must not know how important my celebrity status is. I thought about firing her but she's the only manager I've ever trusted with my most deepest secrets and I don't need her trying to sell them and make me look bad. At the moment I am America's sweetheart and I can't have anyone tarnish my name.
