Tiana

"I want to meet with Michael." I spoke into the phone, hoping to get the answer I wanted.

"I could arrange for it to happen, what's the occasion?" Michael's manager said.

"I just thought about what you said and was hoping to see him in person quite sooner rather than later." I said.

"Very well then. I'll arrange for a photo shoot. See you then." He said then hung up. I smiled in victory as I happily sat the phone down and trotted into the kitchen where Gabby sat writing.

"Gabby, I need you to have some outfits picked out for an upcoming photo shoot and another classy outfit for a party." I told her as I opened the refrigerator and picked out a fruit bowl I prepared earlier in the day.

"How soon is the photo shoot? I could call someone in the morning and have everything arranged." She said.

"I'm not sure how soon it'll be. Someone else is setting that up for me." I told her.

"But I always make arrangements for you, who could have possibly set this up?" She asks.

"Don't question me Gabby, just do what I asked you to do. It's not that hard ya know." I said while taking a seat at the bar.

"Actually it is hard, considering all the clothing lines you've passed on in the last four months." She grumbles. "I really wish you quit this silly behavior."

"Silly behavior? It's not my fault I'd rather make deals with companies who have more to offer." I said, becoming defensive.

"If you would have worked with them, it could have been good for your track record. Big companies look for stuff like that. Gosh! It's like this isn't the occupation you wanted." She says. I could feel her frustration the more we talked but I could care less about her feelings at the moment.

"I'm becoming real tired of the way you talk to me Gabby, I'd advise you to lower your tone." I said.

"Or else what? You'll fire me?" She shot back while standing up to her feet. "Save me the lecture because I quit! Find someone else to book you places." She then collected her things and headed for the door.

"Quit? You can't fucking quit! You're fired!" I shout after her while following her to the door. "Fired I tell ya!"

"Can't fire me if I quit!" She turns around and yell then heads out the door. I watch her as she walks down the hallway, leading to the elevator. "Good luck prospering bitch!"

"Fuck you! Lousy ass assistant!" I yell then slammed the door. My chest heaved up and down as I breathed hard, becoming more angry as the situation replays in my head. I picked up the nearest lamp and threw it against the wall, watching as it broke into pieces. I flipped over the coffee table then smashed another lamp. I couldn't believe Gabby at that moment. She quit on me? I was distraught and confused as to how to handle it. Where will I find a new assistant at such a short notice?

After my episode, I realized the damage I had done to my apartment. I was in no mood to clean it either. All I wished for was to be back at my beautiful house where I had my own maids. They would have cleaned this up. I sighed deeply then found the broom in the kitchen and started sweeping up the broken lamps.
