A Typical Time Turner Mishap

The Order of the Phoenix were just catching Harry, Ron, and Hermione up about what was going on with Voldemort and the war. When all of a sudden, they hear a loud crash from a room upstairs and a whole lot of yelling.

All the adults grabbed their wands and rushed out of the kitchen into the room where the noise was coming from. Inside, there were a bunch of kids all in a dog pile, and all yelling over one another.

"James! I swear to god I will murder you!"

"What the hell just happened?!"

"Louis, get off of me!"

"That's not me! It's Fred!"

"Ow! You're hurting me!"

"Sorry Lils!"

These were just some of the things that the Order could make out. Made-Eye cleared his throat very loudly and the kids in the pile shut up immediately and searched for the source of the sound.

Teddy was the first to get out of the pile, and he immediately straightened himself out and thought of the most logical way of handling their current situation.

"Hello, everyone." Teddy said calmly. (And not Dumbledore calmly. I mean like actually calmly.)

All the adults held up their wands. "Who are you?" Mad-Eye asked them, threatening.

Teddy held up his hands as if to show that he wasn't a threat. He was stunned, to say the least. But he had to figure out where they were.

"I promise you, we mean you no harm. But if I may ask you a simple question?" Teddy tried to assure the people while still trying to understand the situation.

Mad-Eye grunted as if to say he could ask the question. So Teddy asked: "What year is it?"

Teddy was no fool. He knew what a time turner looked like, and he recognized some of the people who were currently pointing their wands at him and his family from old pictures Harry had shown him. He also realized that Grimauld Place looked different from where they had come from. Harry had made some renovations to the old place to make it less dark and blood purist like.

Mad-Eye grunted again. "It's 1995. Now who are you?"

Teddy paled, then turned to James. "James! You fucking dumbass! I swear I'm going to fucking kill you!"

James looked horrified and tried his best to hide behind Cassie, who rolled her eyes at his attempt at escaping the wrath of Teddy Lupin.

"Alright alright." Sirius interjected. "There will be no killing just yet. At least not on your part. Tell us who you are and what you are doing here. Now."

Before any of the people from the future could say anything, Teddy took charge.

"That's a little complicated. And you wouldn't believe us if we told you. I think it would be easier to contact Professors Dumbledore, Snape and McGonagall. And have them bring veritaserum. Then, I will take that and answer any of your questions."

The Order looked at Teddy in shock. He looked so young but was so logical and put together. Mrs. Weasley left the room and went to summon the aforementioned professors.

After a couple of minutes, Mrs. Weasley returned with the professors.

"I hear we have ourselves a bit of a situation." Dumbledore says.

"Do you have the veritaserem?" Mad-Eye asks. Dumbledore nods.

"Yes, yes I do. The question is: which one of you shall be the one to take it?"

Teddy immediately volunteered. "I'll go. I am the oldest after all." Dumbledore nodded and led him into the kitchen with McGonagall, Snape, and Mad-Eye. The others stayed with the kids.

Dumbledore handed the small vial to Teddy. "Drink up." he said. Teddy took the vial and downed it in one gulp.

"Now then. First question: What is your name?" Dumbledore asked.

Teddy didn't hesitate before saying: "Edward Remus Lupin."

The professors and Moody looked surprised. "As in Remus Lupin? Are you related to him?" Moody asked.

Teddy nodded. "Yes. He's my father."

Again, they all looked surprised. "You said that you were from the future," McGonagall starts. "What year did you come from?"

"We all came from the year 2021." Teddy answered again.

"And who are the people you came with?" this time Snape was the one who asked.

"They are all my cousins or family friends." said Teddy. At this point, the veritaserum was starting to wear off.

Dumbledore nodded. "I think that's all of the questions we need for proof that they truly did time travel. Let's get back to the others and we can find out more."

The others nodded and followed Dumbledore back to the living room. Teddy went straight back to the welcoming arms of his fiancé.

"Alright, they are telling the truth." Dumbledore tells everyone.

"So you really are from the future?" the twins ask excitedly. The kids all nod.

"I think we need some introductions. Based on what the young man told me, you should all know who they are. So, if you all would just state your names, ages, and parents. And, just for fun, why don't you tell us your Hogwarts houses and anything else you would like us to know? How does that sound?"

Everyone nodded and Teddy stepped forward. Since he was the oldest, it was his responsibility to take charge.

"Alright. I guess I'll start."
