All the adults stumbled back to the Potter's, tired after the long gala.

"You wouldn't mind if we crashed here, would you Ginny?" Ron asks through a yawn.

Ginny shakes her head. "No, you all are welcome to stay the night if you want."

"Thank you, but we'd best be off." Percy says, guiding Audrey back to the fireplace. "Thank you, all. Goodnight."

With that, they are gone, leaving Ginny and Harry, Ron and Hermione, George and Angelina, and Draco and Angela. Bill and Fleur were in France, so their kids were already staying with the Potters.

"Does it seem quiet to you?" Harry asks walking into the room, freshly changed out of his dress robes.

The adults grow quiet and listen. They realize, it is really quiet. Especially knowing their kids.

"Maybe they all turned in early." George says, a slightly hopeful tone in his voice. Knowing their kids, they better hope they're just asleep.

"It is late, they probably tired themselves out. We wouldn't want to wake them." Angela says, hanging onto Draco's arm. The others agree.

"Alright, you know where the guest rooms are. Goodnight, everyone." Harry says, leading Ginny to bed. Everyone murmurs their good nights and head to bed as well, none the wiser to where their kids really are.

It was early in the morning and all the adults were drowsily eating their breakfast together.

Harry went into his office and started at the mess. "Fucking shit!" he cried out, startling the people downstairs. Before they could make their way upstairs to see what Harry was freaking out about, said man came thundering downstairs.

"My office is a mess! And the time turner is broken!" the bespectacled man said hurriedly. The others were confused and didn't understand what he had said.

Ginny stepped forward towards her husband. "Harry, what did you say?"

Harry tried to catch his breath. "My office is a mess, the kids were obviously in there. And," he looked to Hermione, "the time turner that I got in the raid last week is broken. The dust is all over the floor."

Hermione and Draco both know just how dire the situation is, and begin to panic along with Harry.

"So this time turner is broken? They went back a couple hours, so what?" Angela asks, confused. Draco looks at her, and she can tell it's not as simple as that.

"The time turner doesn't just go back hours. It's an experimental prototype invented by an old death eater that goes back years, not hours." after Draco's explanation, everyone now understands just how bad this is.

"Do we think the kids accidentally broke it? Got swept up in the aftermath?" Angelina asks.

"Your guess is as good as ours, but I'd wager that James had something to do with it." Hermione says, and no one can disagree.

"We need to figure out just when the kids were sent to." Draco says.

"But how do we do that?" Ginny asks. They all think hard until Harry claps his hands, gaining everyone's attention.

"I know!" he exclaims, before bolting off back to his office. Everyone looks after him confused until he comes back carrying a small mirror.

"I gave the other half to Lily so she could fill me in on the older kids if they were being bad. Let's just hope she still has it and that it works through time." Harry explains.

The adults all crowd around Harry and the mirror, all anxious and worried if it will work.

"Lily." Harry whispers into the glass. "Lily."

A/N:

For reference, the mirror is like what Sirius got Harry in OOTP to communicate.

I hope you have a great day/night, remember to drink some water and eat something too! Make sure to vote and comment as well!
