Oryx was beside me in a second. Even pushing back my teammates not caring who they were.

"Dex what the hell happened!?" He said frantically looking me over.

"Oryx" was all I managed to say.

"Hello? Someone fucking tell me what's going on" He ordered. I felt his hands pressing against me, prodding wounds with a gentle touch.

"Isn't it kinda obvious" Ghost scowled. Annoyed by his tone towards him.

"Then a little more elaborating will suffice smart ass" Oryx said back his eyes never straying from me.

"Arms" oryx said. I lifted my arms as told. Oryx I could trust, I knew he wouldn't hurt me.

He slid my vest off and dropped it beside us as he leaned over me, inspecting the wound.

"Results of a mission" I heard Price say "she needs help and she's refusing us" he explained.

"They touched my bike" I mumbled; my only worries were my bike.

I heard Oryx chuckle. "You've got a dislocated shoulder Dex and I'm going to assume that's a broken or sprained wrist."

I hissed as he pressed his thumb on my right wrist. "Sorry I know" he said soothing me.

"Is no one getting help!?" Oryx said looking around the standing team.

"Alejandro is" Price said giving a nod to Oryx.

"How far is it?" Oryx said his index and middle finger pressing down on my wrist and then the crook of my neck.

"Irregular heartbeat ... dropping by two counts" Oryx said.

"Our med bay is decently deep within base, usually accessed by the underground garage" Price said.

Oryx groaned, pressing the back of his hand against my forehead before lifting my uninjured arm and wrapping it around his neck.

With a swift motion he tucked his arm under my legs and lifted me. "Don't touch her damn bike" He growled, walking towards the double doors into base.

"Well, someone's gotta show me the fucking way" he said, anger evident in his tone.

"God they are idiots huh" He whispered to me with a smile. I laughed but it quickly turned into a shot of pain.

Soap appeared first, leading Oryx through the doors and turning left towards the higher-ranking base side.

I shifted uncomfortable. "Don't do that" Oryx said.

I fell still. It'd been a few hours and I'd just woken up. My injuries bandaged and tended to.

My shoulder was put back into place, but I had to be careful. My wrist was fractured, and the bone was chipped causing a swelling.

My jacket had pretty much saved my life. It was suspected that without it and the knife pulled out I would've died while asleep in the bush.

My walkie talky that I'd put in my vest had been stabbed, it's what stopped the first stab attempted on me. There was a gash on my thigh, but it wasn't as bad as the stab.

Nothing was seriously wrong with me, and they didn't expect it to take long before I healed completely. Oryx had stayed with me the whole time.

Even called my family and put my bike back into parking. I'd explained the whole thing to him starting from the game.

I included the team's behavior and had to stop him from saying something to them about it. I know he just wanted what was best for me.

He helped adjust my pillows so I could sit up. "Are you wanting something to eat - because I'll shoot out and get some, trust me Dex" He laughs.
