(Please do not mention the mask or ask any questions)

I say rushing outside where everyone gathers. Ghost isn't far behind me, and he hovers by the door. I smile coming to stand beside him.

I point to each individual. "That's my uncle, Anton, his kids are those two, Clara who's 6 and Luther who's 2"

"Mm, that's my auntie Ida and her kid is that one, Bruno he's 5 .... over there, that's Elke my other auntie, her kids are Mathilda and Otto who are both seven, twins run in the family."

"Uh, you know Sawyer, Vinnie is his older brother and Mrs. Wallace is their mom, then, you can call my parents Mr. and Mrs. or Sir and Ma'am, up to you. Uh, you can refer to my great Oma as Helga and Oma and Opa are just that" I say vaguely.

The backyard is large. Vibrant green grass matching the front lawns. Concrete paths and patios surrounding the area. A pool down the back surrounded with a large black fence for safety, and a barbecue, sitting area under an umbrella far across.

A tall white fence encloses the area with two large trees and well looked after plants lining the fences matched with planter boxes. My father is fond of gardening so vibrant flowers and plants are always around.

My attention is dragged away by my parents who start their annual injury interrogation. "Mama, papa" i groan. "I'm fine, no more injuries since the last I swear" I sigh.

Once they seem pleased with my insistent answers they sit back down. Beers already in my uncles and father's hands. It doesn't take long before I'm bombarded with questions from all family members.

Noseying into my life. I can't tell them much at all, I talk about my team in substitute to cure some of their curiosity. I tell the others about what it was like waking up to Hugo and Ingrid and all share a laugh.

I look around, finding Ghost has disappeared. Upon further inspection and no luck finding him I excuse myself and head inside. I hear conversation up the stairs and find no issue in going to interrogate.

I'm a few steps from the top before I see Ghost and Vinnie in conversation. Ghost has his arms folded and Vinnie leans against the wall with slack posture. The conversation seems rather even. Nothing gives off the way they talk or how they stand, just a normal conversation. I hop up the rest of the stairs, my shoes on the wood floors drawing their attention.

"Dex" Ghost nods as I walk towards him.

"Dex?" Vinnie repeats.

"My callsign" I mutter standing beside Ghost. "What are yous doing?" I ask.

Ghost shrugs, "talking."

"About?" I poke, being nosey.

"Nothing important" Vinnie inserts.

I narrow my eyes looking between them. "Odd" i comment.

Vinnie shrugs. "Yeah well, not exactly your business now is it"

I glare at him, folding my arms. "Your mom wants you" I mutter. He looks past me down the stairs before shoving into my shoulder. I grunt annoyed and pull the finger towards his back.

"Are you going to tell me?" I ask turning to Ghost.

"He was right, it was nothing important, just me, meeting him more" Ghost says.

"Okay" I nod slowly. "Come on" I say leading him back down the stairs.

He follows me as asked and we head back outside through the glass doors. "Liar my mother didn't call me" Vinnie says the first to greet us.
