यूँ तो अकेला भी अक्सर
गिर के सँभल सकता हूँ मैं
तुम जो पकड़ लो हाथ मेरा
दुनिया बदल सकता हूँ मैं

I am often alone
I can catch myself if I fall
you hold my hand
I can change the world

THIRD PERSON'S POV

That night, Nandini woke up around 2 a.m. She was feeling really sick. Her headache was killing her, she could feel her body temperature rising. She was having a fever. She slowly got up and opened the drawer to take out a paracetamol but she found none. She got out of bed and suddenly started feeling dizzy. She switched on the light and finally got out of her room. She didn't eat dinner last night. Neither she had talked to anyone since the evening. She knocked at her brother's room door. It was getting really hard for her to even stand. She had to take support of the wall to stand still.

After some time of knocking, her brother finally opened the door.

"Nandu! What happened? You okay?" Abhay frowned when he looked at the person who was knocking at his door in the hush of the night. When he rubbed his eyes and looked at her face, he noticed that she was looking weird and her face was red.

"Ab....Abhay, do you have a paracetamol?" Nandini asked with a dry throat.

Abhay immediately touched her forehead, her temperament was high.

"Shit! Nandu, you are having a fever."

Abhay held Nandini by arm took her back to her room and laid her down on her bed. He noticed that she was shivering, and covered her with a blanket he found in one of the drawers of the almirah. Abhay then went to his parent's room to wake them up.

When all three of them arrived in Nandini's room, Nandini was mumbling a few incoherent words. They couldn't understand a thing. Nandini's mother sat beside her and touched her forehead. She indeed had a high fever. Her father checked her temperature. It was 104, her mother gasped. She asked Abhay to press Nandini's forehead and then she went to the bathroom to fill the basket with water so that she could put wet strips of cloth on her forehead. Her father talked to the doctor and asked Abhay to bring the medicines prescribed by him.

Nandini's father covered her properly with the blanket and held her hand underneath it. Nandini's mother was putting the wet cloth on her forehead. After some time when Abhay came back with the tablets, he and his father helped Nandini to get up and swallow the tablets.

"Her temperature is indeed very high. Do you think we should tell Gautam and his family now?" Her mother questioned while squeezing the wet cloth.

"No, I don't think so. The fever will go off by morning I guess. And about that, I think we should think about this marriage." Her father answered while looking at his intertwined fingers.
