तुम्हारी नज़र क्यों खफ़ा हो गई
खता बख्श दो गर खता हो गई
हमारा इरादा तो कुछ भी न था

Third person's POV

Nandini, feeling the tension in her relationship with Gautam, decided it was time for a distraction. As she got ready, she noticed Gautam hurrying for the office, a sign of the strain in their relationship. Undeterred, she convinced her mother-in-law, who was initially hesitant, to join her for a day out.

In the cozy living room, Nandini approached her mother-in-law, expressing her desire to go out and watch a movie together. The older woman hesitated, concerned about the contemporary content of films.

Nandini reassured her, "Maa, we'll watch a family movie, something light-hearted and enjoyable for both of us." She tried to convince her that it would be a pleasant way to spend time together.

Her mother-in-law, sensing something beneath the surface, asked hesitantly, "Is everything okay between you and Gautam?"

Nandini, not wanting to burden her with the details, replied with a warm smile, "Everything is fine, Maa. Just thought we could use a nice day out."

Her mother-in-law, still skeptical, began sharing stories from her own young days, revealing moments of loneliness during the early years of her marriage in a new place. As she recounted the challenges, she also spoke of how, with time, things fell into place and a sense of belonging emerged.

Nandini listened, understanding that the wisdom of experience could provide solace and perspective. The conversation brought them closer, and with a newfound understanding, they set out for a day of shared laughter and companionship.

Amidst the bustling day, Anju called Nandini, curious about her whereabouts.

Nandini: "Hi Anju di ! How's everything on your side?"

Anju: "Hey Nandini! All good, just the usual chaos. How about you?"

Nandini: "Oh, you know, managing. I was thinking, we should plan a family get-together soon. It's been a while since we all hung out."

Anju: "That's a great idea! I miss those family dinners. Nandini hummed at that and memorised her old days when she used to go out with her family on dinners.

Nandini, seizing the opportunity to strengthen family bonds, warmly responded, "We're out for a movie and some shopping. Why don't you join us, Anju di? It'll be fun!" Anju, delighted by the impromptu invitation, quickly agreed.

"And speaking of family, how's Gautam and everyone at your end?" Anju asked.

Nandini: "Gautam's busy with work, as always. Maa is doing well"

Their conversation continued, weaving through topics ranging from family stories to everyday adventures, creating a tapestry of shared experiences and genuine camaraderie.
