जब हो गया तुमपे, ये दिल दीवाना
फिर चाहे जो भी कहे, हमको ज़माना
कोई बनाये बातें.. चाहे अब जितनी हो हो
अब तो है तुमसे, हर खुशी अपनीWhen this heart is crazy about you, then no matter what the world says to us,
no matter what the world does to us... no matter how much I am now,
I still have you, every happiness is mine.THIRD PERSON'S POV
The morning came too soon for both of them. When Nandini woke up, she felt Gautam's warm breath on her neck. His left arm was wrapped around her waist and his nose was touching her neck.
Nandini looked at him and then looked at the watch hanging on the wall. It was seven past thirty in the morning, her parents would be arriving soon, she thought. Nandini didn't want her parents to see them like this. She got up slightly, not wanting to wake Gautam up but he somehow woke up by her weird movements.
"Good morning" Nandini chirped.
"Good morning" Gautam rubbed his eyes and then turned around in the opposite direction and again fell asleep.
Nandini looked at him with an open mouth and hit his arm making Gautam wince. Nandini tried to hit him again but Gautam immediately woke up.
"I am up...I am up" Gautam repeated, still trying to shake off his sleep.
"Go...freshen up...my parents will be here soon."
"God! Why are you so grumpy this morning?" Gautam whined.
Nandini royally ignored him, instead of answering his question she asked him about his parents.
"How is Maa and Papa doing?"
"They are good. Maa is doing better than before." Gautam answered her while going through his phone.
"That's good. I wonder if she will go to the Durga Puja with me now during Navratri. She wanted to go when Manjula Aunty told us about the grand Durga Puja. But because of her health, she denied it."
"That's something you should ask her. I am pretty sure, she would love to go with you if she feels alright "
Gautam was rummaging through the bag that Abhay brought last night. There was a set of new clothes, a brush and a couple of essentials for him. He took out the brush from the bag, put the paste on it, took out the fresh clothes and went to the washroom.
"Did you tell about me at home?" She asked.
Gautam nodded his head yes but couldn't say anything because of the paste in his mouth.
There was a comfortable silence lingering between both of them. It felt like they never fought. Nandini's mind went back to the day they fought. She remembered how angry she was that day. She hadn't told him why she decided to go to her parent's house out of the blue when everything was going fine between them. But she wanted to clear her mind, she was feeling very confused and low lately.
