"Chaemi." Mina leans on the door frame of the opened entrance of her son's room. "You're not on a day off. You're still going to class. Stop playing now and get ready."
The little Son who was with Chaeyoung on the bed while viewing some images from his phone jumps out of the bed obediently. "Ne. I will clean myself since I got a little sweaty from that incident early this morning."
Chaeyoung chuckles and slides on the sheets to reach out and pet his son's head. "Aigoo. The protector of the house had it rough."
Mina rolls her eyes. "Don't tease him. It's not his fault."
"R— right." The painter awkwardly chuckles and retrieves his hand to his side. "Mianhae, buddy."
Chaemi giggles. "It's okay, Dada. It all turned out well in the end, anyway."
"Get ready now, young man." The dance instructor iterates with an already raised eyebrow. "You don't want to miss a lot of subjects, do you?"
The little boy just nods and jogs to his bedroom's bathroom.
"Ah— Mina." Chaeyoung calls out after Chaemi closes the door. "Hyung gave me a chat earlier that Nayeon Noona's fever is all gone now. He said that since she seems okay, he will just have breakfast with her and then cook her lunch and then he will leave for brunch."
"Okay. Thank him for me, please." Mina smiles at him. "But— of course, I will make sure to personally give him a word about it this weekend."
"Ahh. Ab— bout that..." The painter scratches his nape. "The last time I talked to him, he— he said that we can use their beach house but... he can't come with us."
"Oh? Really?" The dance instructor scrunches her eyebrows. "Wae? Did something come up on his schedule?"
"I don't think so." Chaeyoung pouts like a kid. "I think he was just trying to avoid Nayeon Noona."
Mina blinks and pauses for a couple of seconds. "For real?"
"Uh huh." The painter clicks his tongue. "Such a shame. I was rooting for them. They look good together."
"Ji— Jinjja?" Mina scoffs, looking like she is still trying to digest what she just heard. "Avoid her? Oppa? To Nayeon Unnie?"
"Yep." Chaeyoung confidently replies, popping the 'p'. "You heard it right, my love."
The girl scoffs again. "And you think I would believe that?"
The painter chuckles. "Well, I get where you're coming from. I also wasn't buying it at first. But I checked in again on Jeong Hyung late last night via chat while I was on my way here and he messaged me back saying he really wasn't going."
The dancer slumps her shoulders and sighs. "I have been busy these past few days and was never able to ask Unnie about her and Jeongyeon Oppa. I never even had the chance to know if something was going on. I mean— If there really was. And if there still is. I guess I need to call her specifically on that later."
"Umm... but Mina."
"Hmm?"
"I..." Chaeyoung slowly asks. "I thought you're not into them being together?"
"Ahh." Mina faintly smiles. "That— that's right."
"Then— then..." The painter cautiously pursues. "Why did you let Hyung go inside her apartment? You straight out helped him in telling Nayeon Noona about it."
The girl rolls her eyes. "That decision wasn't from me."
"Huh? So that means..."
Mina looks at Chaeyoung in the eye and nods to him like she knows what exactly is running on the man's head. "That's right."
