"Hmm?" Nayeon flutters her eyes at the phone that is vibrating on top of her room desk. She glances at the pillow she and Jeongyeon are sharing, seeing her phone on its side. Then, she props her body slightly up to get a clear look at the phone on her desk which screen has been lighting up for a while now. She whispers under her breath. "Clearly, that's not mine."

She was exchanging glances in between the man sleeping like a baby, clinging to her waist, and the phone that is still making a scene on her desk. Then, she let out a sigh of relief after the mobile device stopped making noises.

Nayeon smiles at the tall framed guy who mumbled something incomprehensible in his sleep and snuggles closer to her. She places a short kiss to the top of his head as she lets her side rest again against the sheets.

Then, Jeongyeon's phone vibrates again which makes the girl's eyes abruptly open. She rolls her eyes and mutters. "Ugh. Seriously?"

She flashes a guilty look at the chef as she carefully unwraps herself in his grasp. She quickly snatches one of her large plush toys that has been lying with them on the bed to feed to Jeongyeon's arms when it tries to grab for something like maybe the body that was no longer beside him.

She grumpily walks to her desk and picks up the phone without even looking who the caller is. "Yeoboseyo?"

There was nothing but silence from the other line so Nayeon scrunched her eyebrows and put the mobile device down to glance at the caller ID on its lit screen. She lets her eyes wander to her desk clock before talking on the phone again. "Yeoboseyo, Jennie...ssi?"

"Umm— Sorry." The gentle voice from the other line politely answers. "This is Yoo Jeongyeon's phone, right?"

"Ahh. Ne." The shop owner gives the man on her bed one last glance before walking to her door and stepping out of her bedroom. "He is..." Like some kind of unsolicited idea has crept onto her mind, Nayeon slowly raises an eyebrow and clears her throat. "Is this his sister?"

"A— Ani. It's not. I just wanted to check on him since he left work so suddenly today. Is he at your place?"

"Uh huh." Nayeon is now speaking in her fully awake voice. She is in front of her couch but she is oddly not sitting on it. "He was here all day."

"Umm... Is he not available at the moment? Could you please give the phone to him? I just want to—"

"Jen— Sorry, Jennie. Right?"

"Ne."

The shop owner sighs. "It's already late, that is why he is now sleeping. Is this something I can't relay to him or can't wait tom—"

"Nayeon?" Jeongyeon, who is still rubbing his right eye, calls out from the door frame of the bedroom of the shop owner. "Who are you talking to?"

Nayeon paused for a second before flashing a fake smile to him as she held out the phone towards him. "It's a girl. And it's not your sister."

"Huh?" The chef squints at it, obviously sleepy still. He lazily takes a couple of steps to get his device from the woman's hand. He smiles and shakes his head after seeing the caller ID. "Ahh." He puts the phone to his ear and speaks to it. "Your highness. Hold a sec."

Jeongyeon then turns to the unamused girl in front of the couch. "It's a friend from work. Let me talk to her on your balcony. Sorry if she woke you up. You can go back to sleep now."

With eyes zeroed in on the tall guy, Nayeon puts both her arms in front of her and slowly nods to him.

The chef innocently bows to her and walks to the mini balcony of the apartment.
