When Andorra was settled back into her life in Barcelona, she had started to close herself off again, living most of her days stuck in her room. The only times when she left her room was when she needed to report to court.
Most of the time she was just laying in bed and seen listening to music with her headphones in, when she wasn't doing that, she was behind her desk and playing games. She knew that she was a professional athlete and that she should take care of herself but she just couldn't. She couldn't get up and get food in her. She couldn't get up and take care of herself. She didn't want to.
The memories of that night were endless, leaving her unable to sleep most nights.
Whenever she closed her eyes, all she could see was him. The way that he had taken control of her body. The way that he had slammed her on the mattress. The way that he had violated her body in every way possible. And all of that in just a few minutes. A few minutes that changed her life forever.
She didn't want to live in her own skin anymore. She couldn't properly look at herself in the mirror anymore. She didn't want to do anything, not having the energy either. The only reason why she was eating was because her parents basically stuffed food down her throat.
Their worries were big but they also didn't know who to call for this.
She couldn't keep living like this and training with Barca wouldn't start for another month. Andorra's brother came with the solution a few days later when the rest of the family were sitting around the table. "What about that girl that Andorra's hand was holding? None of us were allowed to touch her after the rape-" His mother gasped. Louis glared at his mom. "Oh come on mom. Rape isn't Voldemort, also, if we can't openly say the word or talk about the topic, how will Andorra ever feel safe enough to talk with us about it? But as I was saying, what about that Aitana? I think her name is? I haven't seen Andorra reach out for anyone's hand in years, let alone cling on to like she did when we were in that room and did you see what she did on the plane? How about we try to reach her?"
His dad nodded his head, stroking his invisible beard, it was something that he tended to do when he was thinking. "That sounds like a good idea, but how will we reach her? Andorra has her phone number, I suspect, but she is never going to give it to us."
Louis smiled. "I will take care of that, okay? Now, the both of you, please at least accept that rape is now a topic in this household that needs to be talked about. I will go and try to contact Aitana."
Louis got up and hugged both of his parents before walking away, stopping in the doorway. "I know that it's hard to talk about and to realise that it has happened to Andorra. She didn't deserve it. We all know that but she needs us. She needs us to be here for her when she wants to talk about it without a judge and jury in the room."
His parents nodded their heads and Louis walked out of the living room to go upstairs to his room. In his room he took a few deep breaths. The thing that had happened to his sister shook him to the very core and he was filled with rage but he had to remain calm for his family. He took his phone out of his pocket and opened the instagram of Barca femini, finding Aitana's linked account fast and then gave her a follow, sliding into her dms.
'Good afternoon, I do not know if you remember me but I'm Andorra de los Santos's brother. I saw you holding my sister's hand multiple times and my guess is that she has some kind of interest in you. I do not need to know what happened while you two were sharing a room but I did want to contact you. Because you are the first exception that we, as her family, have seen in a long time. Andorra isn't doing well. She is constantly locked up inside of her room. She barely sleeps and barely able to eat. I do not know how busy you are but could you please let me know if you're able to pop by?
With kind regards, Louis de los Santos.'
