For the first time since the accident, Andorra slept. Like, she actually slept. No nightmares. No dreams, just an endless darkness as she slept peacefully. Her face was peaceful as she was laying in Aitana's arms, the midfielder felt a little bit awkward inside of Andorra's room but she was also really happy with the fact that the goalie was finally asleep.
Louis popped his head quietly around the door, not making any noise as Aitana put a finger up to her lips. The boy's brown eyes looked at his sister and saw that she was snoring softly and in the midfielder's arms. A proud smile grew on his face before he quietly closed the door behind him, going back downstairs while Aitana slowly started to fall asleep herself.
When Louis returned to the living room, his smile was so big that Sofie and Hernandez grew suspicious of him. "What got you smiling like that?"
Louis grinned at his parents. "Well, hold on to your seats. Andorra is asleep. Like, peacefully asleep. No scrunched face, no screams, no wide-eyes, no. She's asleep with a peaceful face and her breathing slow and steady."
Sofia and Hernandez exchanged relieved glances at the news about their daughter, a huge relief washing over them. It had been one of the things that had been worrying them the most.
"Ohhh, that's not all. Do you want to know why she is sleeping so peacefully?"
Sofia threw her arms up. "Of course we want to know!"
Louis smirked. "She's sleeping in Aitana's arms. Like, laying against her and all. I haven't seen her do that after... well... you know..."
Silence fell over the three family members as they had reminded themselves of Andorra's first girlfriend. They all missed her and Andorra simply hadn't been the same after the.. accident.
Louis cleared his throat. "Well, anyways, let's just focus on the positives of these events, Andorra is sleeping again and it seems like she is finally opening up to someone that isn't one of us three."
Sofia nodded her head. "I didn't think that I would say this, but Louis is right. We should focus on the positives about these events. We haven't seen her actually accept anyone's touch in years. Let alone that she would reach out to them or sleep in their arms.
When Aitana woke up, it was the next morning and she noticed that Andorra was still asleep and safe in her arms. The bags under her eyes were significantly less as she had been asleep for quite some time. Aitana's chest rose and fell after a big yawn escaped her lips, the goalkeeper stirring awake, her eyes slowly opening.
She blinked a few times before she realised what was happening. She sat up fast and looked confused. "Wait, huh? Aitana? For how long have I been asleep?"
Aitana looked at the screen of her dying phone. "You slept for a total of 15 hours. Seems like you needed it."
Andorra groaned and rubbed her eyes. "I'm sorry for falling asleep like that."
Aitana smiled at her. "Why are you sorry?"
"Because I fell asleep on top of you and you have been stuck with me for the last 15 hours. And I wasn't even awake!"
Aitana chuckled slightly and flashed the girl a smile. "No need to worry about it at all. I'm just glad that you got some sleep."
Andorra looked shocked and moved away from the midfielder. "Why are you being so nice about it?"
Aitana slightly tilted her head. "Why wouldn't I be? I mean, the only thing that happened is that you accepted my touch, which is a big thing, I know and then you were finally able to get some sleep and I know that you needed the sleep."
