Y/N: I'm horrible at keeping things happy and lovely, enjoy.

It was difficult for Andorra to keep her new appointments and meetings with DAZN a secret from Aitana, needing to leave unexpectedly and finding herself cancelling their plans because a new meeting had been scheduled.

The moment that Andorra had reached out towards DAZN in the questionnaire to work with and for them, DAZN had been more than happy to accept this challenge, diving into the deep with Andorra, causing the ex-athlete to spend more time away from home as she had to meet the DAZN crew and learn the ropes, now also being away from the Barca games to walk with the DAZN team at other matches to see how they kept the viewers interested, doing analyzes of the games and the plays of the teams involved.

But that wasn't all.

Andorra also got to look at how players got interviewed around the Champions League times and how the DAZN team treated everyone. Andorra felt like she had found her new destiny.

However, Aitana experienced this all in a whole different kind of way, seeing how Andorra started to distance herself from the midfielder, missing her support during the games and how Andorra's excuses seemed to be getting shittier and shittier. Their promises and agreed times to meet up, being pushed away by Andorra, the ex-footballer sometimes even just not showing up without saying anything. Now she was hyping herself up to confront her girlfriend about it, no matter how shitty the answers may get, she needed to get at least some answers.

being prepared for the worst, Aitana was waiting at the De La Cruz property after Louis had let her in. Her mind was working at a hundred miles an hour as each minute that passed by seemed like hours instead while Louis seemingly had no idea about the things that were about to go down in the household.

It was also obvious that Andorra hadn't expected Aitana to be at her house when she walked in, being happy about her day. "Hey Louis, you won't believe what we did today! We went to see the Madrid match, got more access to the players, watched the match and even though you will never see me cheer for Madrid, they did play well. We still did everything we could to stay- oh."

Andorra had been talking while she was hanging her coat and strolling into the house while being on autopilot until she pretty much was suddenly face to face with Aitana, who had crossed her arms at this point. Andorra couldn't see if the midfielder was angry or disappointed or both, the words trailing into a deafening silence as Aitana took a step back, creating distance between them. Louis felt the tension between the two women and quickly made up a small, insignificant excuse and rushed out of the living room area to disappear upstairs.

The worst part, in Aitana's eyes, was that Andorra seemed completely oblivious to the situation that had been created and towards Aitana's feeling, her voice small as she tried to reach out towards her girlfriend who moved completely out of reach in response.

"What's wrong?"

Tears were brimming inside of Aitana's eyes as she fought her tears off, keeping her emotions at bay as much as she could. "Who were you with today?" Her voice was wavering the slightest bit, confronting Andorra wasn't something that she wanted to do but it was something that she needed to do.

Andorra started to avoid eye-contact at this, chewing on the inside of her cheek, debating if she should tell Aitana the truth or not. She had been really excited to keep it a secret and surprise basically everyone with it. She slightly shook her head and made eye-contact with the older woman again. "I can't tell you that yet, but I promise you, it's going to be good."

Aitana furrowed her eyebrows and rubbed her arms, her heart slowly breaking. "You were just talking about being at a real match while we had a match today. You've been missing more and more matches of us Andorra. You are moving away from me, we used to see each other every day and now we barely see each other. Your excuses are starting to get worse. Please... just tell me... are you done with us.. with- with me?" Tears started to slowly escape out of Aitana's eyes, the fear that gripped her heart clenching tighter and starting to make it unable for her to breathe.

Andorra's eyes widened is surprise and slight shock. She tried to reach forward and to hug Aitana but the midfielder still denied contact , just looking at Andorra with heartbreak visible in those beautiful brown eyes. "Please just answer the question."

Andorra kept having eye contact with her girlfriend and licked her sudden dried up lips, slowly shaking her head. "I would never cheat on you. Not in a million years. How could you... even think that of me?" Andorra was hurt at the fact that Aitana had been thinking of her in that way, doubting her, after everything that they had offered of themselves to each other.

Aitana slammed her fist down on the counter that was besides her. "Then what the hell have you been up to?"

Andorra shook her head, slightly taken back. "I really just can't tell you Ana, just... please trust me."

Aitana slowly shook her head. "How can I trust you when you've been lying to me for weeks?"

Andorra's throat felt as if it was closing up, knowing that she would make her pitch-side debut next week, doing a small interview with Jona before the match to get his thoughts, another on-field short question in the break and a full interview after the game. The big game against Real Madrid. the el-classico. She could barely maintain eye-contact with the midfielder in front of her. "Please, next week everything will become clear, this is a big thing for me, okay?"

Aitana scoffed and angrily wiped her tears away. "Then I guess that we will see each other next week, because I can't do this. I can't continue with the continuously being lied to, no matter what the reason might be. I simply can't do this. You've been slipping from my fingers and I have no idea how to deal with this." The angry side subdued as only the tired and broken Aitana was left, looking at Andorra who was looking quite lost and had no idea how to deal with this. "So, because I have been doing something private for the past few weeks, you immediately go and assume that I'm cheating on you? Even while knowing everything about me?"

"What else am I supposed to think?! Don't turn this around and on me! Don't you dare to do that! We went from being inseparable and knowing everything about each other to barely seeing each other and I know barely anything about you now! How am I supposed to think positive when you're quite literally pushing me away!?"

The bomb that had been ticking for a while within Aitana finally exploded, red in her eyes as she looked at Andorra, the latter taken back, lost for words. "If you can't trust me, get out. Get out now."

Aitana scoffed and shook her head. "You know what? Fine."

Andorra kept the rest of her tears at bay as an angry looking Aitana retreated and left the house, leaving a broken Andorra behind, standing in the middle of the living room, now clasping her mouth to keep her cries as silent as possible.

Maybe she should have just told Aitana about DAZN.

Aitana had left the house and returned to her own house, going up to her room where she opened the drawer of her desk, grabbing a small black box, opening it to look at the promise ring that she had bought for Andorra. She closed the little box and clutched it to her chest as she cried her eyes out.

She had bought the ring a week ago, when the doubts had still been at bay, ready to promise Andorra the best future that she could give her, but now? All of that was thrown away, all of the feelings that she had been feeling were gone. The love that she felt for Andorra making her more sad than happy at that moment in time.

Their entire future just collapsed right in front of them as both women are in their bedrooms, crying and reflecting over exactly what had just gone down, tears streaming down their faces as both of their hearts ached and cried for the other one, desperate to be reunited as they both of them were hoping that this wasn't the actual end.

They were crying over each other as this was a whole new pain that neither of them had experienced.

Was it all too fucked up or could they still make their relationship work after this?

Their minds were clouded and haunted with doubts and questions, questions that neither of them had any answers to.

Questions that were left unanswered.
