Chapter 6: A whale, a princess and bounty hunters

Nami POV

"Luffy, is there another mountain after this one?" Nami asked suddenly

"No, why?" He asked. She point at something in the distance

"Ohh shit!" He said "it's that whale!"

"WHALE???" scream everyone

"It's a long and sad story but right now we need to stop the ship!" Luffy said panicking "The Merry needs to survive until Water 7!"

"What?. Why?" Asked Usopp a bit upset

"Ussop-kun, this ship is not meant for the Grandline, we will need a new one soon" Kaya said "and like Luffy mentioned, it needs to last until Water 7". Ussop nodded sadly, understanding

"Then we better take care of her as much as we can" said Ussop

"In that we can agree" said Luffy "we need to try to stop the Merry. I have an idea, although it may pissed off the whale but this is the only way, Ussop shoot the cannon!. The whale won't feel anything and it's either that or we will crash on the whale!"

"Got it!" Said Ussop as he went and shoot the cannon. It work as the ship slow down not fast enough as the figurehead broke and flew off, almost crashing into Nami but she was rescued when Luffy grabbed her bridal style his arms, making her blush a crimson red

"Thanks, Luffy" said Nami, kissing his cheek

"Not problem" he said blushing "we will need to repair this somehow". Nami look at the broken figurehead

"I will do what I can" said Ussop "but let's try to avoid more damage, so Merry survive until Water 7 or we will be in trouble

"Wait what is the whale doing?" Luffy ask suddenly in panic. Nami's eyes widened when the whale open his mouth "uh oh"

"That's not good" said Sanji

Luffy POV

"Rika, go inside!!!" Luffy said just as they were swallow, he heard a yes dad. Moments later, there was light but Luffy felt they weren't in a stomach but outside. For a second he thought they were expelled from the other side. He shuddered and shake his head at that thought. He realized the sky was fake, as it was just paint. The same with the birds and that's when he saw a familiar face. He smiled, it was the doctor of Gol D Roger crew, Crocus "Crocus-san!" Luffy said, making his crew look at the old man

"Well, well" if is not Red Hair jr" he said, making Luffy blushed "guess Laboon thought you were food alongside that squid". Luffy and his crew screamed when they saw the giant squid and seconds later Crocus shoot it with a harpoon, killing it

"We need to go, before the stomach acid destroys our ship" Luffy said

"The door is over there" Crocus said "I suggest you wait for Labbon to go up first. Right now he is underneath the ocean". Luffy then felt a familiar presence as the door above was blow up and two figures appeared. One was Nefertiti Vivi, princess of Alabasta...

Flashback

Seven years ago

Kingdom of Alabasta

"Dad, why are we in this deserted hell?" Luffy moaned. Ace hit him behind his head at those words

"He already told you, baka" Ace said annoyed "we need to rest a bit and get supplies"

"Fine" moaned Luffy "you are a big meany Ace!"

"Stop complaining, you idiot!" Said Sabo annoyed as well
