"When the spirit of a man rises and command, even the gods must obey".

KEN POV

"Relax, relax, relax..., calm down, you will not hear word, see now the result. Who's to be blamed?".

When opposite options refuse to move at parallel line to each other, its time to tighten your seatbelt, emergency exit should remain open.

One of my very trait is to act as mediator for peace. I always compromise, just to see that no violence happened around me. When its me that's involved and conceding is not an option, I must protect my right.

I don't like bullies. I was once bullied and knowing that someone plans to intimidate me, it doesn't sit well with me. I don't usually think rationally if I get anxious or mounted pressure.
I've been on edge since this Michael incident. How it ended was a bit funny but its worth it.

Thinking back. How, 'Ben-don't-be-angry' became a popular phrase among students, was when the big muscular body man, brought his phone newly into the hostel. Nobody is allowed to talk about it. I think he's the first man before others joined him. Every midnight, after light out, we will be watching film. If you're checked and confirmed worthy to join, that means you're not going to report to PRESS.

We watched a lot of 'Avengers', MCUs.
His favorite hero is the Hulk. He can playfully and wickedly punch you and roar, saying don't make Hulk angry cuz you'll not like him angry. I guess since no one wants to start a fight with him, we take it as joke and him, showing you his playful side.
While he was still trying to bring the joke to Michael. That one don't want to listen. Pride can make one act stupid sometimes. Michael guy chose to test the theory and was now channeling his aggression at Ben.
"See, I don't care what you think of yourself, this is not your fight. I don't remember when you started going out with Ken as friends"
"Guy, you no hear yourself. At least hear this, Ben is friend of Ken, very simple". He answered him still laughing. That was when Michael shoved me again and rushed at Ben, maybe to surprise him or act tough. He stopped by holding his shoulder and chest. Before his guys can intervene, he gave Ben a hot slap and punched him in the stomach. That shocked all of us.
"Yeeeh! Mehn, I don't have the energy to separate muscle fight, Michael can handle what he started". One of the guys said and stepped back. Ben was bent over holding his stomach.
"Aww, why you blow me? Nah you start de always...," Ben has not finished from where he was kneeling. Michael was rushing at him shouting.
"Nothing you fit do Ben, I don de plan for you". As he was still charging, Ben rushed to the nearest wall. I thought he was going to pick bottle or plywood to break the guy's head, instead, he was hitting the wall with full force as if its punching bag...

I was hearing kitikitikitikiti..., I was wondering whether his fingers are okay. That hot blow to the wall didn't register in that foolish Michael's empty brain, only that he paused momentarily just to dive at Ben. The guy dodged it and turned with speed. He threw the first punch but he missed Michael's face by inch.
"Jesus!" I shouted. Michael fell and rowed at his back. Ben rushed at him again. Like a magnetic pull, I can't explain how Michael did it, but the intensity he used and leaped backward like frog and shouted.
"Blood, guy stop, stop! Don't kill me". We all rushed to hold Ben, pleading with him. He spat at Michael's face and left to collect the leather he dropped. Michael stood up and was dusting his jersey and body. He's trembling like fowl that just stepped out of rain. The demon has left him.

The moral lesson, it doesn't take only prayers to cast out some certain kind of demon. He was lucky to miss that first punch. The adrenaline rushing through me and the way my heart was beating, I can imagine the fear in Michael's eyes. That blow would've done some damages or possibly, reset his stubborn brain. Ben didn't bother to look his direction until he left with his friends. I pity him. God saved him, we were at the back of Auditorium and out of bustling in the field. I was just happy. The feeling you got after watching intense wrestling or MMA.
