Once the pair had settled into their new home, Max taking over the kitchen duties while Dawn worked on hiring people from the local village to take care of the grounds. With shield still on the brink of falling under, Dawn was annoyingly free from work. She tried to relax, but swimming and laying on the beach wasn't enough to keep her occupied. So she began searching the old Shield communication lines for any information on her brother, since she wasn't taking any calls from her family. The lies were eating her up, the phone calls were so awkward, she couldn't say anything without wishing she could tell her mum, or brother about her house, about her powers.

So far, she'd found out that Coulson's team had an inhuman, it was that Skye chick she'd met all those months ago. Honestly, that day felt years away, that mission about Hawkins even further. Hunter and Bobbi were on the outs again, Bobbi having put shield first.

Who said that would happen?
What fabulous younger sister had said this would happen?
Hm? Hm??

She Sighed and shut off her laptop this was just making her sad. She needed a night out on the town. Zagreb had some very lively clubs, she knew that. Max hadn't had much fun last time they went out, maybe she'd just go out for herself this time. It could be nice, maybe bring a girl back, no doubt lose another pair of shoes to another european lady.

By the time she made it out of the bedroom she'd claimed as her office and upstairs to the kitchen, she'd made up her mind. "Max, I'm going out tonight! You're on your own" She made her way up the next flight to her bedroom when she got an "Okayyy!" from her friend and got ready for her night out.

Makeup and hair done, smokin' outfit on and she was ready to go. She sped out of her driveway in her bright red {insert fancy sports car name brand here}  and down to the main part of town. The wind ripped through her hair through the windows, Anything But Ordinary by Avril Lavigne blaring through the speakers. She sang along with a smile, the freedom of nobody knowing who she was but all knowing what house she owned and knowing she clearly had money beginning a fight in her mind about whether or not it was a pro or con.

She parked, and walked into the first club, shaking her hair out of her face. Shewas gorgeous, no doubt about it. Her strappy white shirt, with multiple cutouts hid the scars, but showed off her body, the black wide legged leather pants leaving the rest of her body to the imagination. Whatever people imagined, it was certainly not ugly. She got a drink, and sat at the bar, surveying the scene while taking a sip. Like her last time in a Croatian bar, there wasn't a shortage of pretty women, though this one seemed to have an overpopulation of men, at least for her taste it did. She shook her head and turned back to watch the bartender make drinks.

It was almost her birthday, she realized with a jolt, while she was contemplating how many times she'd drank while undderage amidst her trips to the states. In just a few days, she'd be 21. That meant her brother would be 28 in a number of months. Her stomach plummeted at the thought of celebrating her twenty first birthday without her brother. Their plan had been to go to America and have her finally drink legally, and gamble. That wouldn't be happening now.

She sighed and downed her drink, flagging the bartender over and ordering another one. Before she could pay, a hand tapped her shoulder and a freckled face smiled at her. "Can I pay for your drink?" Dawn blinked, she wasn't used to being the one approached, perhaps it was because she usually walked over towards people for her job, but she was caught off guard. She nodded, quickly shutting her mouth before catching flies. The girl smiled, sitting down beside Dawn and paying for her drink and ordering one of the same for herself.

"Drowning your sorrows?" The girl asked, European, Dawn couldn't quite place where. But it wasn't Croatia. "I'm Calypso, my friends call me Hooky" as Calypso spoke, Dawn could make out more of a French accent being covered by a mess of other things, most likely the woman trying to hide her origins. She rolled up a sleeve, showing off a large pirates flag.

"And what should I call you?" Dawn asked, sipping her drink and batting her eyes flirtatiously. Whoever this woman was, she was intriguing. And even if she were to leave in the depths of the night like most of Dawns other pursuits, she'd be okay with it- actually no she'd be crushed. But she'd get over it pretty quickly.

Calypso hummed, eyes raking over Dawns body as she slid her bar stool closer. "How about darling?" Dawn felt her face heat rather than be aware she was blushing at the comment. Usually she wasn't one to be flustered, but this woman.. she was simply beautiful.

Dawn smiled and turned to face her, resting her hand on Calypso's knee. "Well, darling, what do you say to some extraordinary tequila? I have a bottle straight from cancun I haven't cracked yet"

"What were you waiting for?" Calypso asked, her face now a light tint of pink as she stood, offering her hand to Dawn. "Lead the way, ma chérie" she whispered the pet name in Dawns ear, a small smirk slipping onto her face at Dawns flushed face. "You know my name, but I don't know yours" she said with a small head tilt, walking out of the bar with the shaggy brunette.

"I go by Day" Dawn said, using the nickname her brother coined for her off her alias. It wasn't a lie, she did go by Day, unprofessionally, too. She opened the passenger for for Calypso, and opened it for her again once they got home. She was desperately hoping that Max had gone to sleep at a decent time and wouldn't be waiting to hear all about her failure of a time in town when in reality it had been quite a success.

She pulled Calypso through the halls of her large house, shrugging off the few questions Calypso asked 'how did you find this beauty!' 'How big is the property?' 'When did you move in?' 'You must have a pretty fancy job to be able to afford this place' Dawn cut off the last question with a kiss, Calypso's back against her bedroom door.
