Chapter 9 - Dismissal

The bell rings, and Mrs. Matilda dismisses us. Meyuki, Mihi, Tinku, and I started walking to the bus rider line.

"We should start looking for our bus number. I think it's 0-13," murmured Mihi, as they looked up from their book, 'SkyWard - By Branden Sanderson'. They then went back to reading.

"Look! 0-13! It just got here, we should probably go." Tinku informed us. She woke Meyuki up, and we ran to the bus called 0-13. I just realized that whenever we need to get Meyuki, Tinku always volunteers, hm, strange.

"Let's sit in the back, it's much quieter back there," Meyuki suggested. I swear that I saw her and Tinku clinging to each other earlier, but I really don't care, I support them no matter what. I just remembered that they both took NyQuil by accident. They were supposed to take DayQuil, but the NyQuil was in the DayQuil box, so they're both pretty tired.

"I think that that's a pretty good plan, I am actually really tired," agreed Mihi, they stumbled.

"You okay?" I asked, catching them on the shoulder. I remember them not having a white streak in their hair, but I guess they might've dyed it. I remember them liking their dark brown hair, but they might've changed their mind.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks Minx." They said, I just nodded. We sat at the back of the bus, and we started talking.

"Mihi, what's that white streak in your hair? Did you dye it?" I asked, "Oh! Yeah, it's hair dye," Mihi responded, however, their mum would never let them dye their hair before they was 15, so, why were they lying? Wait, if their father was arrested, it would be in the newspaper, and it wasn't. We had gotten one during Social Studies class, the name 'Zake Yoshitoga' hadn't been in the newspaper. How much did they lie about today? Certainly not everything, they can't lie too much without feeling guilty.
