Back on Olympia. Lok is currently in the gym going at it with the punching bag. Lok is consistently switching from a series of punches to kicks in a steady manner. As Lok performs, he is having flashbacks. Flashbacks of the day that his family was slaughtered. With each hit that Lok lands on the bag a gruesome scene pops up in his head. The longer Lok spars the worse the flashbacks rush in. From bullets flying to blood painting the walls. The bodies of security, maids, butlers and even the animals. Until it ultimately came to the family. Lok's father hid him in a secret panel in the wall just moments before he was brutally murdered. Lok could do nothing but watch. Lok punches and kicks never lost a step as he continues. Lok's anger builds up to where it suddenly overflows into a combination of a loud scream and a powerful round house kick. Just before the kick makes contact, Lok's momentum is completely redirected from being tackled to the ground. The moment that Lok opens his eyes, his whole mood changes completely.
"Ch-Charlette? Where'd you come from?" Lok
Lok's voice is a bit muffled due to having his face smothered between Charlette's breasts.
"Oh sure. Now you notice good ol Charlette. It's not like I haven't been calling you or anything." Charlette
"You have? Oh. Sorry, Charlette. I guess my mind was somewhere else." Lok
"It had to have been lightyears away to not notice me near you. So getting up close and personal was the obvious choice." Charlette
"You could've, yelled or something." Lok
"But then I would've missed an incredible opportunity like this." Charlette says then smothers Lok further.
Charlette feels Lok squirm while an immense amount of heat builds up around him. She smiles then sits upright on him. Lok takes a deep breath the moment that Charlette moves.
"Better?" Charlette
"Haaa.. Haaa.. Sure. Yeah." Lok
"Good. Wanna talk about it?" Charlette
"Nah." Lok
"Ok. Want me to at least take care of your not so little friend who is rubbing up against my-" Charlette
"There's cameras with heat vision in here." Lok
"I was going to suggest somewhere else but my how bold you are." Charlette
"I'm obviously interrupting here." Ramsey
Charlette and Lok look over to see Ramsey at the entrance. Ramsey's eyes are barely noticeable. She is barely holding her eyes open. The effect of losing Arthur has affected the team differently. None worse for wear than team Wave Riders.
"Ramsey! Hey! What's up?" Lok
"I.... I don't know... I decided to go for a walk and I ended up here. Can't really sleep... Been up ever since... You know... Like I said, I don't know why I'm here. I'll leave you both to it." Ramsey
"Don't be shy hun. Wanna join?" Charlette
"Charlette." Lok
"I meant in conversation. I know I look erotic Lok dear but that's not all that goes on in my head." Charlette
"Point taken." Lok
Ramsey stares at the two and couldn't help but let out a subtle giggle. Hearing that puts a little ease to Lok's mind full of worry.
"You two are quite compatible ya know that?" Ramsey
"Mighty kind of you deary. How are you and the others?" Charlette
".... Don't know for sure. We might call ourselves family but at the end of the day the captain and the vice captain were actual blood brothers. Gash is, handling it in his Gashly way. I'll manage somehow." Ramsey
"And what about you and your, captain?" Charlette
Ramsey pauses for a brief moment then quickly realizes what Charlette meant. Ramsey couldn't help but start to blush in silence.
"Uh Charlette. She already said how the team and her were doing already so-" Lok
"I'll explain it when you get older Lok honey." Charlette
Lok stares at Charlette, shrugs his shoulders and lays back down on the ground.
"I um... We.. Haven't really.... Done much of anything... It's hard I guess. I can just be there for him I guess." Ramsey says as she twiddles her fingers.
"It's alright deary. I-" Charlette
Charlette is cut off by a massive alarm sounding off throughout the facility.
"What in blazes?!!" Charlette
"Crap that's loud! What's that alarm for?!" Ramsey
Charlette feels Lok's movement and notices him sit upright with an extremely high concerned look on his face.
"Charlette. Get up. Now." Lok
"Lok?" Charlette
Over at the command center, Tyriel and Cameron are going over the consoles in reaction to the massive alarm.
"Tyriel! Come in! Can you hear me?!" Tenna says over the coms.
"Not as loud as the alarm but I can!" Tyriel
"This alarm hasn't sounded off since I was a little girl!" Cameron
"You're half my age so imagine how that makes me feel!" Tyriel
"It happened on the day I hate the most. That can only mean nothing but trouble!" Tenna
Cameron quickly finds the right screen and sees what caused the alarm.
"Tyriel!! Get those automatic defenses up now!!" Cameron
"What?! Ok but where am I aiming?!" Tyriel says as she scrambles on the keyboard.
Cameron types a set command that uploads the live video feed from her screen to the big screen so that Tyriel can see what she sees.
"I'm left in the dark here! What is it?!" Tenna
"A meteor storm! It's just passing the upper atmosphere! Getting the automated defenses active!" Tyriel
"Cameron! Get on the loud speaker and instruct everyone to the shelters just in case! I'll do what I can from the ground!" Tenna
"On it!" Cameron
Cameron moves to the side and pushes a single button.
"Everyone! This is not a drill! Evacuate to the nearest bunkers! I repeat! Evacuate to the nearest bunkers! Make sure everyone gets to safety! This is not a drill!" Cameron
"Luckily, most if not everyone is accounted for... Wait... Rika and Joshua! They're in the outskirts looking into another possible beast armament!" Tyriel
"They're too far out to hear the alarm! Get a message out now! Get them back here!" Tenna
Currently. Both Rika, Joshua and some workers are at another far off sight currently digging into the ground. Rika's communicator is ringning near endlessly, but she doesn't hear it because it is in the vehicle that she drove out in.
"Hey Joshua! Where's my coms unit?!" Rika
"I'm pretty sure it's in the Hummer up there!" Joshua
"Of course it is." Rika
Rika stops what she was doing and would make her way up toward the vehicle she came in. Rika makes it up halfway when she catches the sight of something high up in the corner of her eye. Rika looks up and focuses her eyes high up.
"Hm? What could that be?" Rika
A few seconds go by when the object gets bigger giving Rika a better idea of what it is. Rika's adrenaline spikes as her eyes stay glued.
"Meteooooorrr!!!" Rika
Yells just seconds before it makes impact in the area of their focused work.
