It was a bright day, the evening sun beaming down on the girl, or rather woman, now that her nineteenth birthday had passed. Her dark eyes appeared to glow as she cheerfully waved at villagers that she passed with a skip in her step.
With the gate leading into Konohagakure just within reach, Mina picked up the pace.
And there he was, waiting for her to pick him up with a warm smile playing on his lips. Mina couldn't contain her joy, jumping into his arms, and squeezing him tightly. Kagura reacted similarly.
She lead him to her house, her content smile never leaving as she told him of what he missed. Anyone watching the couple of four years would be able to see the adoration Kagura's pink eyes held. They traced her face, noting the way her (face) cheeks would twitch as she tried not to break out into a wide grin. From the way her midlength ebony ponytail swayed with her movement to how her eyes would dart away when she noticed his loving gaze to her pink tinted cheeks. He noticed it all and he could confidently say that he loved everything about her. Everything. All her flaws, all her quirks, all her hobbies, he loved all of her.
"Oh, look! We're here." Mina unlocked her apartment and walked inside. The setting sun shown through her sheer curtains allowing for Kagura to see the light purple and tan color scheme of her living room. He immedietly smiled. It was so her.
"We have about an hour to get ready before dinner with my family tonight." she informed with a nod. Placing a quick kiss on his lips, she patted his chest before leading him to where he would be staying.

The couple could see people chatting joyfully through the window as they walked hand-in-hand to the front door of the Uchiha residence.
They wore a fancy casual theme with Mina sporting a lavender, off-the-shoulder dress that fell to her knees and a pair of sandles, her locks pulled pack in a french braid. Kagura wore a white button up, blue jeans, and nice sneakers. Over the past four years, his hair had also grown a little past his shoulders, so he wore his blonde tresses in a low ponytail.
Upon her swift knock, the front door immedietly opened and there to greet them was Uchiha Sakura, whose green eyes lit up at the sight of the two. Behind her stood Uchiha Sasuke. His brooding appearance gave off the vibe of intimidation, likely toward the young man holding his daughter's hand, but Kagura was so used to that that he immedietly went to shake his hand with a polite smile. These were his future in laws after all- at least until he proposes in a few months.
Sasukes stern demeanor crumbled as Mina wrapped her arms around him. He hadn't seen her in a while and it was strange to have the house without her in it. He supposed he'd have to get used to it though. A sudden enthusiastic cry pulled his, and pretty much everyone elses eyes toward the source.
"NEE-CHAN!" The girl flushed as everyone looked toward her, before making her way over to her family, drink in hand. "That was so embarrassing." Mina's fifteen-year-old sister mumbled as she hugged the older girl.
"I thought it was funny." Mina commented with a laugh, wrapping her arms around her sister and purposefully ignoring the glare that was levelled at her.
"Don't be mean, Nee-chan!" Sarada grumbled with tinted (face) cheeks.

It appeared that all of Mina's mother's friends and their families were there, plus her dad's one friend, her uncle Naruto, and his family. Mina's friends were also there, though that consisted of just Mirai and her mother, and a few jounin she worked with. She wasn't lonley, honest, she just valued a small group of people.
Mina gazed up at the stars that twinkled across the night sky as the rest of the guests trickled out, taking their seats at the large table that was set up in the yard. Turning her attention to her left, she talked to Mirai with an almost nostalgic tone as food was passed around. Mina would definetly miss everyone.
Every so often, she'd glanced to her right to see Kagura having a conversation with Boruto, Inojin, Shikadai, and Sai, who inserted himself into the comversation as well. She would also see him speaking to her father, who sat across from him, with her mom repremending him if he got harsh. It warmed Mina's heart to see her boyfriend getting along well with her friends and family.
"Mina-nee." A semi-loud voice paused all conversation around the table as the ebony-haired girl turned her attention to her self proclaimed eleven-year-old little sister.
"Yes, Hima-chan?"
"I'm sad you'll be leaving Konoha to go to Kiri, but I'm glad you have Kagura-san." As if on cue, everyone lifted their glasses and tapped them to each others, startling the couple, who fumbled to join the toast.
"TO MINA AND KAGURA!" Naruto shouted over the clinking.
"TO THEIR SAFE JOURNEY TO KIRIGAKURE!"
"TO THEIR CONTINUED HAPPINESS!"
"TO THEIR BRIGHT FUTURE!" Mina looked around at everyone who was toasting to her and the man she loved, tears of happiness forming in her eyes. She smiled softly and wiped her eyes before they could fall, but she couldn't stop them. She knew her makeup was ruined, but she couldn't bring herself to care.
"Everyone... Thank you." She felt him squeeze her hand under the table.

The sun peaked over the treeline as a crowd of people surrounded Mina and Kagura, who both had backpacks filled to the brim with storage scrolls. The small apartment now emptied of all items, not a personal item left behind.
Tears were shed as Mina walked to each person, hugging them. Sakura and Sarada openly cried as Mina patted their backs and gave them a reassuring look.
"Mom, Sarada, I'll be okay and don't forget," Mina raised her voice so everyone could hear, "Konoha is still my home despite my move. I'll make sure to visit often."
After embracing her dad, she tilted her head with a closed-eyed smile. Sasuke's eyes widened, seeing a beautiful, young red-haired woman with a similar expression, though, that had been the day Aneko died. Sasuke felt nastolgic, yet happy. Unlike the saddness of her mother's death, Mina's smile represented a fullfilling future with her loved ones, an experience her parents were unable to have.
"I know you'll be okay, Mina, because you have Itachi with you. You are a strong and beautiful young woman and... I'm so proud of you." Sasuke's voice was thick with emotion as he spoke. The man tapped Mina's forehead before leaning forward and placing a soft kiss on top of where he poked her. The nineteen-year-old brought her hand to her forehead as tears welled up in her eyes. She presented everyone with a watery smile.
Mina turned on her heel and walked off, smiling at the blonde man at her side. Her smile was one of content with her decision, despite the tears that tracked down her face.
"YOU BETTER TAKE CARE OF HER, KAGURA-SAN!" That got a chuckle out of the couple, Sarada's words ecoed through their minds. He'd definetly take great care of her. Their forms soon disappeared into the distance as their future together awaited them.
