A Not So Normal Day -KOTLC fanfiction-

Sophie POV

I knew that telling Grady and Adeline that i was going to be at he Vacker's wasn't very polite,, but Della had insisted until i said yes. She had also goaded me  into spending the night there. I tried to refuse, not that i didn't love them all, just because i didn't want a makeover and a whole new wardrobe. 

i threw on a red tunic and some leggings then clipped my dark red cape with my Ruewen crest. i ran a hairbrush through my hair in front of Vertina. The little girl popped up. 

"You really should wear red more often." She said. 

"I know, but i don't want to draw attention to myself. So i try not to." 

"Fine, but at least but some lipgloss on. A lighter color, maybe... a clear coat!"

i sighed and truged over to the box of lip glosses Biana had given to me for my late birthday present. i then chose the clear one and used it. I also took a small ruby clip and pinned my hair back. A knock sounded on my door. Edaline poked her head in.  

" Vertina make you put on the gloss" 

"yup." 

"Well, you'd best be going. Are you going to take anything with you?" 

"just a bag that has some pajamas and my memory log. I'm pretty sure i'll be coming home with a wardrobe so..." 

She chuckled and handed me the memory log which i stuffed into the bag contain soft black leggings and a huge black human shirt. then she steered me out of  my room past Sandor who was as silent as ever and to the leap master. 

"Hurry,before Sandor knows where you are." 

i smiled at her and whispered,"Everglen." 

i stepped into the light with the picture of Sandor running up the hallway and Adeline smiling mischievously embedded in my brain.
